You can possess other NPCs by pressing T, select the one you would like to spawn, talk to them and press possess. Spawning them is only necessary with some of the NPCs in the latest build since quests got added and some of the NPCs don't show that option if you just talk to them.

Saving the game is still nonfunctional as there's no progress to be made or saved.

It'll come when the devs get on with the story, but that'll be a lot later.

If you read back a couple pages other people are saying they are also stuck there and that the quest line ends there for now anyway.
You can fuck everything as normal by spawning them in through the spawning menu.

That's based off of what the dev has said on a few patreon comments asking the same thing. If I had to hazard a guess on the required RAM, I'd probably say 8GB.
