This game sure has style. Not a style I much care for, but it does have it. In terms of gameplay it's a pretty standard HTML game, but with a lot less porn than you would expect from a porn game. Maybe that will be added later, but from playing online girl, it will be a whole lot of text and grinding for little payoff. Since most of the current content revolves around the vampire backstory, I wouldn't bother with this unless you happen to be into that sort of thing.
Specific complaints: I found the navigation annoying, a map would definitely work wonders. In fact simply progressing through the game is a bit confusing. If you're going to hold the player's hands and tell them to do X, then do Y, then do Z, with no actual player input - why not just tell the whole introduction as a short story, instead of it being "playable"? It added nothing, especially the times I had to just skip time until the next event.

Blimey guys you don't hang around do you! Nice work, let me address some of the comments:

How much content would you say there is at the moment?
Also what kind of content is planned for this one?
Right now there are several story characters you can talk to who occasionally might hint at things or do some small exhibitionist things but mainly they are there for story right now. The actual 'content', by which I'm assuming you mean porn content, is limited to the 3 humans you can feed upon. You can right now see all of their 'routines' by enthralling them and 'feeding' upon them.

I plan to have many more humans, probably adding 3-4 to each 0.1 release as I go to keep things interesting.
As for your fellow vampires all will find themselves influenced by you and eventually will start 'showing off' to you and eventually allowing you to fuck them (some may become unavailable depending on story choices along the way, but in general) So there should be voyeurism, exhibitionism and eventual physical contact when I get there.

Got an error upon running out of time wandering the house late at night and being sent to bed. Tried to cut and paste it but failed. I will try to recreate it.

EDIT:
Code:
Error: <<nightUpdate>>: error within widget contents (Error: <<resetHumans>>: error within widget contents (Error: <<set>>: bad evaluation: State.variables.humans[State.temporary.rg] is undefined))
OK cheers I'll look into that, was this whilst at the family home or in the city?

Hmm, think that 'C' on the end of that variable is a mistake I'll take a look. Thanks.

Thank you for making an HTML game that doesn't have transformation or sissification!
No worries! I'm not sure why certain engines seem to become favoured by different content communities, they can all do pretty much whatever you want! Personally I go HTML as I don't have to worry too much about PC/Mac/Linux provided I remember my casing of filenames, ah and becuase I enjoy finding ways to do graphical effects with CSS #nerd!

When I use the "Your Info" tab, way down at the bottom it says "Cash: $ $player.cash "

EDIT: I seem to be stuck. My "To Do" is "What's your sister up to in the conservatory ?"

I shuttle back and forth between the library to kill some time reading and the conservatory, but she doesn't show up.
OK, sounds like the Cash is showing up before it should, I'll look into that. Shouldn't cause you any gameplay issues as you will have some before you need any.

As for the sister in the conservatory, odd, she should always appear there late afternoon, there is some randomness there, but not much. I'll see if anything can go wrong with that. I do need to add other ways to skip time whilst wandering around the house, especially whilst there is not too much to do there yet.

If it's like online girl, the amount of effort to content ratio is probably too much for my tastes.
Sorry to hear that, I would say you can get to the interesting content (as it exists at this point) much quicker than you could in Online Girl, but yes I enjoy playing games where you have to develop relationships first so that's the sort of game I make.

I enjoyed Online Girl and the genre is very much up my alley. I'm quite looking forward to this. Thanks rudeboyuk!
Cool! I hope you enjoy the direction on this one.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah the genre choice is of course going to limit my audience but I liked the idea personally and I find it best to have some personal drive to ensure I can keep my enthusiasm up. I would say it's probably not as 'vampiry' as one might expect, in fact as the game is formulating I can see it's going to be some weird vampire/sopranos cross over feel!

Sorry you found Online Girl lacking in content, it was my first game in Twine so I limited it quite a lot. This time I'm aiming higher contentwise so hopefully things will be more rewarding with this game. For a start there isn't a single focus
on a certain girl this time, and the player will be able to pick and choose 'conquests' to a certain degree.

A map is not a bad idea, I have the house layout in my head so I guess I don't think about it personally. I'll see about getting one added you can bring up so you have a better idea of where to go to get to wherever, both for the home and once you get to the city.

The idea of the ToDo is more of a guide as to how to progress the story, but there are other things you can do along the way that are not on there so I wanted to allow players to discover them on their own terms . Admittedly there is less to do in the family home right now than I originally envisioned, I rushed through this somewhat, other than hitting story points, as I wanted to get to the core of the game and get some systems in place so I knew what I would be working with long term. I definitely intend to revisit the Family Home/Town at some point and flesh out that skeleton more. Probably after version 0.2 is completed, as I should have all my building blocks in place at that point. There is indeed way too many instances right now where you need to 'skip time' without having anything fun to do.

I just don't get it, no matter what I do or where I go nothing happens, the To- Do list dunt seem to progress, can't have breakfast with sister or go out, maybe a better explanation would do or atleast some kind of advice/walkthrough, but as it stands it just looks and feels 2 complicated

*looks at screens in OP* 'To do: talk to grand dad' (pic)
*Oh shit, I know that fellow!* ...
*It's Christopher Lambert, isn't it? No, Peter O'Toole!* ...
*Oh no, Chris Lee! Jesus!* XD

RULE 34 applied

Let's see if I can bend those plebs to my will! *roarr* (Testing)
P.S.: Can grand dad play with them humans too, dev??

One does not simply make a vampire game without paying homage to the grand master himself! ;)

So your ToDo is saying to have breakfast with sister but she is not there when you go in the early morning?

The hover over images is nice, but is a bit slow on increase and decrease, hopefully this can be instantaneous
I had it instantaneous first but it's too easy to accidentally mouse over the image when just navigating the screen so I added a delay so it only happens if you are truly going for it. Perhaps a better balance can be reached, I just set it for what worked for my reactions.

Pop out achievement (is cool but it was really slow and you can kind of see lines where it is attached)
Hadn't noticed the lines on my monitor setup, I must run darker maybe? It's code I adopted from some online site but I'll see what I can do with it, the speed was somewhat dictated by the sound clip I found for it.

Pictures for different times of day would be nice (outside at late night is bright)
I've tried doing a little with filters in CSS but yet to find a good result. Would prefer that over having to create separate image files and as it's more flavour I set it on the back burner. Will revisit at some point when it feels like fun. I try to do as much as I can without having to waste download space on multiple images of the same thing.

Unsure if enthral or enthrall
I can't stop typing that extra L .. gets me all the time. I'll attempt to do better ;)

moving around the house is a bit cumbersome having to click what may be 5 choices to tell your player to go from room to pit, etc.
Agreed, I tried to reduce this in the city location. I hoped the breaking up of the locations like that would help quide the player as to how the house is laid out but it's clear that isn't the case. I'll be adding a map soon, maybe I'll make it interactive so you can skip directly to a location from that if you have far to go.

Ah, acronym for Office Manager, I'll get that changed to her name I created the rooms before I had the character in place to I didn't know what to call it and just got used to it :D

Loaded up my most recent save, was able to find sister in the conservatory and progress.
I've only been able to find her there one time subsequent to that.

Guess the RND was too harsh, I've made some tweaks so the next release should not have the issue in the same way. Thanks for pointing it out.

Just got an opportunity at the bar to Enthral. This happened.

And when I chose to continue another time ...

" You leave $humans[_girl].name to her own devices, "

I don't seem to be gaining any mesmerism experience or knowledge

So there are a lot of errors with this game and some that are so obvious it makes me wonder if the dev even bothered to do an QA at all with the game before releasing it.

Talking to the aunt in her room error.
Picking a Vampire name doesn't give a trait error. (when starting the game)
Skipping to talking to girls doesn't give you a choice of Dex or Str and you can only punch not kick in combat. ERROR
skipping to talking to girls causes you to lose out on will or life because your stats aren't increased gimping your character. error

The number of errors I found playing the game shows there was no ATTENTION to detail given to game play.

When I opened my console it is FILLED with error messages seriously did the dev even bother to play the game from the start and open up the console to even see WTF was going on?

There should be no RNG at all. Place the fucking sister in the conservatory, after their first night at the bar until the player speaks to her. In the introduction don't use bullshit random encounters for critical mechanics part of a tutorial. It hinders understanding of key game mechanics, it slows down the players ability to advance. Frankly the "Sister" and every other character should have a pre set schedule for each day and time period. People don't behave in a random way they are habitual with routines.

Right now the game is near unplayable because you rushed to release and didn't bother with an QA at all. QUALITY ASSURANCE is vital key to design without it you get games that are a buggy hot mess. Do you know why so many game's include a back button even on these html games? Because being able to go back makes it a hell of a lot easier to do QA and make sure the game isn't buggy as fuck. The error people are showing you are RIGHT at the start of the game how the fuck where they missed? Because you didn't bother to sit an PLAY the game with the intent of looking for issues. Just playing 10 minutes from the start would have revealed the issue with your aunt, traits not being assigned and the errors at the bar. Playing 10 minutes from the option of skipping the first year would have shown you the bugs with combat and the error in the bar.

Most players get that bugs are inevitable but the fact that you didn't even get various starts correct and working shows a real lack of pride in your work.

I took a look in the image folder, I know I didn't see everything in the game, so can't claim to have found all the problems, you will need to give it a good once over.

I did find another trying to double check on what I mentioned.

Skip to day 1. Error:<<resetHumans>>:error within widget contents (Error: <<set>>: bad evaluation: Cannot set property 'atBar' of undefined).

When the achievement pops out over the image there is a pixel or two wide box around the circular portion of it. Might be best to have it instantly pop out, stay for the sound duration, then instantly or slowly retract, I would say try as much to mimic the speed of them on phone apps or video games.

For the image enlargement, I guess the problem isn't instantaneous or not, just more of not smooth. However it is really minor.

When doing skipping I don't think you get all the achievements, skipped to year 1, got Home only.

Might want the naming to be a little more informative on what it does.

When I got to the US, I had unspent stat and skill, I could click skill and be told it isn't in game, but stat did nothing.

Keldar Sorry playing, or I guess I should say, attempting to play my game has caused you such anger. Might be best to wait for a much later stage in the development before you try it again, should you even wish to.
Originaly the jumping in points were created just for myself so I could get to certain areas quicker, I left them in as a lot of the changes I am making at present would make save games unsuable due to new variables being added to characters etc so I wanted people to be able to jump back in when they return at later dates rather than rely on saves. Clearly I need to up my checks on those jumping in points to ensure they are not causing more issues than they are solving as seems to be the case.

As for the randomness, it's not completly random of course, the character have their prefered activties, but at the same time they don't do the exact same things day after day and things such as needing to shower/sexually relieve themselcves play into that. As you say though that's not so useful during the tutorial stage which is why I'm adapting some of those to ensure there is always availalbility at some point each day when the story demands it.

At the end of the day my development style is what it is, I create quick but poorly and then work backwards adding the quality once I know the big picture. One could argue I should keep that part behind close doors but getting feedback as I go is what feeds my mind so I chose to open the process up to the puclic. I was the same with Online Girl. Again sorry that this has effected you in such a negative way. I keep my games free for several reasons, this is probably one of them. You get what you pay for ;)

I really wanted to get into this, but it's too grindy and slow. It's painful to have to manually traverse the pathways in the house constantly. The inability to wait a certain amount of time from any location combined with events that only fire at certain times. The ambiguity as to whether or not I'm just making progress super slowly or if I've hit the end of the available content.
