is it just me or is the fighting simulator F-ed up? enemies disappear outside of screen for 10+ rounds and sometimes forever.

Having said that they should be turning back to go chase you down

Yeah, it's on my list of things to do (and fixing bugs; it's a big and complex system, and will be something I tinker with for years before this is done). The next big feature for it is getting in the big ships; one of the dreams of this system was that it'd scale from the little Pugios, up past destroyers, cruisers and battleships, so I can get proper Honor Harrington or Legend of the Galactic Heroes style fleet battles. For that to happen some real time needs to be spent on it, but I think the underlying design supports it.
Does this mean no more updates for love of magic? Been waiting to do a new playthrough of it. Looking forward to this going forwards too, love me some sci-fi.
Yeah, both Love of Magic and Morningstar are done. New Game+ for LoM is done (so finish the game, and then do a new playthrough from the beginning of Book 1 with improved stats, more cash, all your gems, and new events. Make sure you've defeated Hel in your first playthrough, as that activates a big new questline in NG+), and Game+ for Morningstar as well (a small epilogue playing after the end of the game, with a couple of new sex-scenes, and a bunch of easter-eggs).

Astrid's says talk to the quartermaster but the quartermaster is awol. Have seen the maid stuff and assume that's it
Arya's says meet her at the bar after day 33+ but that gives a repeat scene

Individually it's roughly the same length as either of the LoM trilogy or Morningstar but this is not a standalone game like Morningstar, Wings of Empire is planned to be a trilogy like LoM.

If you haven't unlocked Astrid's "Maid for you" content you're not quite done with existing content yet. The Quartermaster should be available with a little ? in the morning and evening (but not at night). You can try spending a little time with Astrid in the bar or gym, see if that jogs anything lose.
Arya has a sex scene as well (the current end of content for her). Spend some time with her sparring or chilling (there are 3 relationship bumps along the way, leading to a new scene); these should kinda fall into place naturally as you engage with the content and build stats.
Ao has one sex scene so far; there will more, but she's not part of the core harem. Amber, Arya and Keira have one as well; they'll have plenty more. Astrid, being the greedy little girl she is, has 3 sex scenes + a repeatable sex event that unlocks after Maid for you. And Valeria has one scene, which is unmissable. Cass doesn't have one yet; it'll take a little time to convince her.

Love of Magic and Morningstar were both great, excited for the new project.
It's an adult game rather than a fap game, so you won't find any atep-roommates stuck in the washing machine or anything like that. There is sex, but it's trying to tell a story where sex is an element.
Having said that there are 8 sex scenes, shared showers and lewd handholding in it right now, so it's not a particularly slow burner.
L take. Emily is the best.
