Yeah, this ended up being a rabbit hole to fall into

Jade joins the crew on day 42, and has already become one of my favorites. Originally she was meant to be one of the 3 wingmates, but she ended up visually too close to Arya (both almond eyed / asian features, dark hair, fringe), so she got replaced by Astrid. Which is fine, now I have TWO hotties instead of one

Just don't port Snowdrop over or she'll slut her way into taking over as much screen time as she can.

No, I made that mistake in Morningstar. She was meant to be just a cameo there, and instead ended up sneaking into one of the biggest questlines of the game

One thing I would recommend: I'm getting a bit of screen tearing in the animated cut scenes, would it be possible to implement a V-sync option?

And where are the save game files kept? In order to keep my disk usage down, I delete games after I've played through the current update - with Ren'Py I know where the folder is, but not sure about Unity.

Assuming a windows 11 installation, the saves are in c:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Droid Productions\Wings of Empire

and

c:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Droid Productions\WOEBackup

It should already be vsynching to 60fps, unless you've got NVidia's "performance mode" on, in which case it ignores vsynch settings (and probably runs at 1000fps).

I'm playing on a laptop with a GeForce RTX 2070 Super, and the option to let the application control 3D is already selected.

Note that WoE isn't the only game I've had screen tearing on - it's not typically an issue with Ren'Py games, but I often have to turn it on with Steam games, etc.

Finished off putting in the Collectibles. Since that's largely tech and coding, the GPU had some spare time to make wallpapers. Cass and Jade in what ended up a surprisingly SFW wallpaper

Ginny (the Chief Engineer), there is absolutely more stuff planned. She'll have a good chunk of bar content and hopefully some sexy times to go with that, though that doesn't mean she won't scold you for bringing home a beat up fighter.

I enjoyed what is present.

One point of feedback I feel I should mention even if I understand why this reasonably minor critique can't be fixed in any sane way. I understand the purpose of the tactical game, but there is a dissonance created when the outcome of the mini-game varies wildly from the narrative story.

For example, when I was fighting the five Confederation fighters, Arya's fighter took minor damage (5 hits) and mine was undamaged -- only to get back and have both fighters effectively scrapped.

Is more planned for the crew chief? I like her vibe (and her looks).

The chief engineer gave me flashbacks to Wing Commander III. That crew chief was my favorite to romance in that game.

Is there a flag I can change so that I can get the quartermaster to appear again? I already got Astrid's outfit but the relationships tab is saying I can't progress until I get it? I think I went to the quartermaster too early and now it's bugged?

Shouldn't matter. Make sure you check your facial messages when there's an icon on it, Astrid's questline won't progress until you read her messages.

If you're playing the F95 zone version I think that might be it (it's hard to track all of them at this point). There's a sequence of facials, then go to your room to get the maid scene, then her bondage suit scene with the quartermaster, then a facial with her for that. That's the end of content on Steam; I'm working on it whenever the desire for some blonde brat Minnesotan sexiness strikes me.

I'm playing the F95 version (original release) and I don't get anything about a bondage suit (no quartermaster) after the maid scene. I do get another scene with Astrid in my room (flash message says I can repeat it) but neither the quartermaster ever shows up or any more facials or mention of any bondage suits. Guess it is not in this version.
