Is there a new version of this that works? When I installed it my character still needed to pee.
i warn you this is not 100% match, this one more like hack&slash genre and probably not on par with roldea at overall quality but it's not turn based at least

Unfortunately, not many exist and not many of them are as good.

The combat is a lot more advanced than Wings of Roldea and can be more challenging (combo system and other special attacks vs RoD's simple 1 attack + equipped magic abilities), and also has lewd attacks that can happen mid combat.
Not much on the dress up side compared to WoR but you can also wear whatever outfit unlocked without worrying about stat loss just like WoR.
Also has preg but unfortunately it's very limited and is mainly just CG end scenes.
Has a quest list + a basic hint of what you need to do for the active quest. It doesn't exactly hold your hand, just enough info on where to go.
Though, the gameplay is not as keyboard+mouse friendly. Still playable, but a controller may make it easier (combos).

Last time I heard their reasoning for not releasing a game for so long is that they wanted to try 3D and they are learning it from scratch. I also think that their 3D game is almost complete... Couple more months and maybe we can see their newest game... (They set the release date to December 2025, but as usual, delays are expected)

Anyone have the full save that allows new game Plus + ? Trying to play the game without needing to grind the exp bits because that took forever.

The walk through linked in op is helpful. It also helps to have a something to track your progress with (like notes). Personally I made a spreadsheet based off that walk through for myself to check off things I did as I went.
Walk through mentions new game only once and it's about a save the writer has for people to make a new game with to keep the gear. So I assume new game + is just keeping the gear you collected to bring into a new game.
I don't remember doing this myself. I'm pretty sure I beat the main story...but that run's progress (my first time playing) wasn't tracked well so I'm not sure.
I have a newer save I was playing on hard that's tracked but isn't complete.

Sometimes I forget what I've done and haven't done during some playthroughs or I came back after a long time to a save and don't remember where I left off.
So, I made a spreadsheet checklist based on MemeLauncher's guide (guide in quote) as an extra visual aid to my progress.
Posting here to share because why not.
The checklist was made using Microsoft Excel.
Unfortunately, Google Sheets does not provide (or I'm missing) the same conditional formatting as Excel, so if you open it in Sheets some visual formatting will be missing/broken (1's and 0's instead of checkmarks and X's, no color changing cells, etc). Maybe another Office alternative will work better.

good luck, if you did not stumble to it successfully like i didn't(cause i'm dumb about programing things), you can go to city(west), poverty district and start to savescum pickpocketing-just reenter location to respawn dudes when they dissapear(increases lockpicking bottom threshold, neat) or go to capital(east) and start to savescum dancing, you can make fortune this way fast-just don't let people get heated up too much-edge them for profits

Yeah, I knew that. The problem is the game somehow detects the file changed and then disables it, I forgot to mention that, my bad.
This is what Wings of Rodela does AFTER replacing the old file with the new one.

I don't know if this is the case here but if you're using an online save editor there's a chance the variable you want to change is under a different address (it tends to move them around for Wolf games) and the one you're modifying is breaking something that should use limited set of values. Try searching for your current amount of gold and modify variables one by one if there are multiple with the same value. Retry with a working save every time to make sure you don't break anything.
