Dev changed saves structure and format so for Test version save editor wouldn't work but u can try to use cheat codes which posted here (didn't tested yet so if any questions arise then ask its author).
how do you get the melissa/ ted scenes or show mina your wifes pics after you have been fired? I can't seem to progress, Evelyn has moved in and I've been fired and I don't know what to do next to progress the story

This "game" is no game, at least not yet. This release has less in it than the game had a year ago. Evidently they were just testing some things. But it's so broken I personally would recommend just waiting and see if things improve. For now, you can't really advance much of anything.

He's also pulled off a miracle in that each consecutive new version runs worse than the prior.... I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I loaded the older update, and movement between rooms and conversations was much crisper.Ofcourse it is

If you diddnt play for a while, then youll have a lot of content to play. This Dev is consistent, an update every month, 2-3 scenes, but EVERY MONTH
