I suppose that not Nova but Niva that means country farm's field in some russian regions. Well, it was very well and comfortable jeep for farmers. Not so offroad as army "commander's" UAZ, but for civil purposes very good car that gived very pleasant memories.
No, when I say Nova, I mean Nova. As in this (although admittedly having only 3 sources underlying a Snopes rejection is a rather sparse foundation for rejecting this anecdote):

We hope you're having a good time this weekend. Our weekends (or would it be more accurate to say workdays?) fully comply with this May slogan. We've finally come to terms with (temporarily) straitened by the working conditions, settled down and began to work hard. Fortunately, the weather outside is predisposing – wind, cold and rain – all that remains is to make tea and plunge headlong into the atmosphere of the favorite story.
Work is underway on the Russian version of the main game. And here, as it was once said in one of the TV series "let's look back – the road is so far" there suddenly turned out to be a lot of work – something that I recklessly hoped to cope with in about a week, still drags on and on, and there is no end to these kilometers of text. But there is also the graphic side of this issue – which Mr. Beef is poring over in between his main work –because this occupation is very tedious and painstaking, devoid of creative excitement... Although, I want to note from myself, it is extremely useful.
First of all: This is a unique opportunity to look at your handiwork as a whole and admire it. Or, to be horrified. In fact, some passages have to be seriously edited, because suddenly you see that people don't say that, at least this character doesn't say that for sure. Secondly, some small threads come out, somehow lost in the general outline of the plot, although if you pull them, you can unwind such a thing.…In parallel, work is also underway to adapt the main game for the Patreon platform. And as soon as the version is ready, for which we do not have to blush, the link to it will return to its rightful place on this platform. The Russian version will also be available to our dear Patreon subscribers, but for now on special request.
