Well a fix for the call error is to use the developer menu and mark the call as completed and the 0.23 final to active and just wait til night.

How? I pasted it at "game" folder, and when I launch it, it says "cannot locate python directory, are you sure we're in the game's root directory"! Is there another step that I have overlooked?

We have received many messages from you regarding the bugs that have arisen in the new update 0.23. As soon as we realized that this was not an isolated case, we immediately began to fix the problems and are ready to provide you with a fixed version.
The main problems that make the new version of the game impassable (namely, the segment with Public Readings and the segment with Cornelia and Irma's contacts on the phone) are related to the same problem. If you do not go into details, then this is due to the save system, namely, whether you started playing version 0.23 through the Start in the Main menu or continued from the old save. If you start the game from the old save, then the game has conflicts with new elements from version 0.23. We did not notice this because we tested the game through the Start in the Main menu and the "Start from version 0.23" function. We sincerely apologize for this miscalculation. Our team hopes that this situation will not spoil your gaming experience from the new update that we have been working so hard on. Here is a list of all the fixes:
Fixed a problem with public readings
Fixed a problem with Cornelia and Irma's contacts
Fixed bugs in translations
Fixed some scene transitions
Fixed the soundtrack at the beginning of the update

Funny thing, for 3 year ms can do a whole new alpha using UE or Unity. But they choose to do shit as always.
All that shit about "oh sorry we didnt think anyone will use old saves" - fucking really? I'd understand if some random bugs appeared - thats ok, they keep spawing anyway, but main route? Fucking no. After that story fuckup with previuos update I don't think I believe them.
