Reading some of you gripe about this game not being true to the characters when its a PORN game is absolutely hilarious.

2: People generally gripe about games in order to improve them.
Heck, tons of other games here have similar complaints. It depends on the game.
There's a BIG difference on a game that just goes "You're some dude that's useless at sex, but has a hyper dick, so all girls inexplicably likes you. Go fuck hoes!" and a game that goes: "You are THIS specific dude. And you have THIS specific goal.". One of those games has a higher expectation story wise.

I mean: One game on this site has people come in at a weekly rate and ask where the fuck the lesbian content is. And the dev is somehow literally confused over why people expect lesbian porn in a game about a lesbian out to save her lesbian gf, while advertising all the "hot girls your can have lesbian sex with".

3: To add onto 1: If you haven't noticed, most porn games stay partially true to the character.
Like, most people WANT a big tiddy goth Raven. They don't want a Raven going "UwU" and acting like Princess Peach.
You can pornify her, sure. But generally people tend to keep characters similar. Just hornier.
Most people play porn games with characters they recognize, because they like the characters.
If I play a TT game, I expect Starfire to basically put out immediately. I expect Raven to have some snark. Jinx to be a little bitch. (Though, how true to proportions a game is... that varies violently xD)

Sometimes these adult games can have a funny idea of what constitutes a good guy ending. Like even if their putting alternate routes for some of the girls so you can avoid outright rape and let you kill your boss your still playing a monster who can seduce or trick a group of teenage girls and at least some of their moms into a sexual relationship with you. Even if you don't count that as rape by deception it's still some pretty fucked up shit.

I mean, just overall. I could technically see several endings. Most are unlikely since we play as Gary Stu.
1: He simps for his boss, all the girls are killed and cue overlord ending.
2: He betrays his boss, kills all the girls except Miranda as his empress and overlord ending.
3: Same as above, except he keeps everyone alive for his interdimensional brothel.
4: He attempts to betray his boss, fails, gets cucked.
5: Due to his sheer, massive incompetence: He gets bodied by the girls and sent to the shadow realm.
6: Like above, but due to corruption: The girls make HIM a sex slave and steals his interdimensional brothel.

But as said: We are unlikely to get more than 1, possibly 2 endings.

A goes against his behavior about most of the girls. At least last I played the only girl he did not just go impatient and either blackmail or outright rape were Will and Elion, and that is because parts of an older version where he slowly bribed her for more actions were removed... with nothing added in their place.
B is a bit more possible, but I would not say concubines but just personal sex slaves. For reasonign see my answer to A.

Because that's the tone of the entire game?
"A" as said lacks any build up whatsoever. And would require an entire remake of a storyline where he isn't a useless, selfish Gary Stu.
"B" is basically literally just my "3" suggestion with a tweak. And is still a "bad ending" as he'd still be useless, selfish and enslave the girls.

But yeah, it's very, very slim we'd get a "good" ending.
As, outside of retcon and Miranda. He's just a bad person and terrible in bed. So we'd need some major revamp and plot twist to have anything but a "bad" ending. That said: Quite a lot of games are designed to exclusively have "bad endings". It's kinda part of the staple of maledom games especially.


But yeah. Many feel disappointed as: It's a really bad WITCH game.
And it's not a very good maledom/porn game either.
... Or game. As people have mentioned a lot; with the grind and annoying minigames.
I think a big issue is that it's hard to tell where this game is even going. It constantly gets revamped, changes direction and a plethora of other stuff. So, people that started to play it for X, no longer have access to any X. It's just confusing.
It's very much a "Oh, piece of candy!" type game.

I've been a critic for over a decade. And this game has had a very messy development with very little information...
I can say though: At least an incoherent development is preferable to devs that constantly lie about their content.
Here, people are just puzzled by the update notes. Instead of angry at the dev for lying again, and then cue a flame war with the blind fanboys.

You do realize the irony here? You are chiding people for "complaining" about an issue, then you yourself complain about this very same issue and chime in with suggestions on how it could be fixed.

Take basically any moral choice game. Fallout, Mass Effect, Prototype, etc.
You have "bad endings" in those games. Like: You nuke everyone. You win.
That's still slapped under the "bad ending" route.

It's not a game over. Heck, games like Fable straight up gives you an achievement telling you you picked the "bad ending" if you decide to be a total douchebag. It's still a "Hey, you beat the game! Good job! Man, you're an asshole!".

And I mean... that is quite literally how he treats his "concubines", so... He'd whore them out regardless.

This honestly applies to A LOT of games on this site.
... Though, a lot of cases it's "Hire a better artist", but often its the writers. (Though, still super common for games to like... include furry women. And they hire an artist that only draws gay furry porn, and can't draw women. Yet, they chose to "work around that" instead of getting someone that can draw women?)

Trailing off. If I recall: That has been suggested. Fans that have 10+ years writing experience have offered to write for free. But it has all been shot down. To what I recall, due to a "I got this!".
I might be mixing up games... but I think they originally hired an inept writer that had 0 clue what they were doing, ruined the first draft. And now they refuse to work with anyone. But as said: Could be another game.

Actually, neither of those are the ones usually called the "bad ending", as far as I know.

The "you lost the game early" ending is only known as a "Bad End" in a visual novel... which... does this one count as?
I'm honestly not sure.

Anyway, outside visual novels, they re known as "Nonstandard Game Over".

The endings where you are evil, kill everyone, this kind of thing... even if they are known as "bad ending" internally they are just "an ending". An ending where you are a bad guy, but still just an ending.

In most games, a Bad Ending is the ending where the story goes a terrible route. That is, not a happy ending for those you aim for. Which... may not be bad, sometimes the best ending is the Bad Ending. Or the canon one.

For example,

in Disgaea 1, if you lose to Mid Boss at any time it is a Nonstandard Game Over.

If at two points of the story you killed too many of your allies, Laharl can become evil and decide to kill someone he would spare for the full story. That is both an evil ending and a Nonstandard Game Over.

Then there are four endings. All four are actual endings, but there is one Good Ending, one Normal Ending where you killed at least one ally in battle, and two Bad Endings depending on your actions. The canon ending, that is the one referenced in the sequels, seems to be the Good Ending, but the Prinny sidegames make it seem it may have been the Normal and he got better.

Conquering the Human World is an Alternate Ending, because you literaly go out of the story's way to get it so not really a Non-standard Game Over. It is also certainly an evil ending.

Shrug. We disagree. But regardless this is now a semantics argument.

The argument started with me using "bad ending" to refer to "you lose the game". And you correcting me that "these endings are not evil".
I already clarified that I meant bad as in "lose" rather than "evil". Thus there is no point in continuing the argument further

The first 5 are from older versions of the game. The penultimate one is just art he made of Elyion it was never in the game and the last one is from a preview of new Elyion content.
