News About the Release of 0.24Ex and the Second Animation Poll

Hello everyone!

Well, we originally planned to post the changelog for version 0.24Ex at the end of last week, but we ran into some technical issues and delays. We did our best to fix everything as quickly as possible, but we only managed to wrap it up at the start of this week. So, the post with the full list of changes will go live this week, and the 0.24Ex build itself will be released a few days after that.
Now let’s move on to the results of the animation scene poll. We’ve tallied your votes from all platforms and determined the top 3. In third place is Scene #2, featuring Irma and Taranee in the dungeon. About 48 people voted for this scene. Second place goes to Scene #5, with Elyon surrounded by bullies. This one received around 60 votes. And in first place is Scene #9, featuring Will, Cornelia, and Cedric from the recent 0.24 update.
As always, the scene that took first place will be animated and added in update 0.25. As for the scenes that placed second and third—don’t worry, they’ll be included in the next voting round! We haven’t forgotten about them.
With that said, let’s move on to the second animation poll. You can see the new set of scenes above. The rules are the same: you vote, and in a week we’ll announce the winner and animate that scene.

They usually post a download link like 1 week after release Changelog. Normally different devs give a date of update but I guess they like to have delays.

I wonder if change of animation and added voice over to old scenes will crash old saves. I bet yes. Remake sucks.

Thats why devs with 3+ INT use superskill "make design document". When your design document contains exact number of data fields the save files should contain and you DIDN'T CHANGE that damn file formats in the middle of development - SUDDENLY 80% of save compability issues dissappears. Someone call it magic, others call it damn common sense.
But if every now and then for whatever magical reasons something changes in save file format (for ex. someone decided to make additional choises in the old parts - coz that clown can't write a story BEFOREHAND) - then yes, every now and then save can become incompatible.

As far as I remember, the last update that broke old saves was in 0.19. That change happened only because they had to adjust the content for Patreon’s new rules. How was the dev supposed to predict Patreon would suddenly start banning things it was fine with before?

Does any one have a save that is a little before Elyon is on the train station? My game seems bugged because I'cant select any interaction after that point and all my saves are from a early game
