Final Stage of Development, New Cover Art, and an Extra Animation
View attachment 5141402
Hello everyone!

We’re in the home stretch. All animations are complete. The code is 90% finished, but we can already test the build at this stage. Overall, we can confidently say the next post will be the Changelog. By the end of this week, or possibly the beginning of next, the coding work should be wrapped up. After that come the game’s final testing and the translation.
While the team is handling this part, there isn’t much for me to do on the art side. So I’m working on some new sprites for the next version, 0.26, since you’ll also meet new important characters there. I’ve also finished the new cover art for the game.
Originally, we planned to add the new cover later, in version 0.26. But since development has taken a bit longer, and I can’t speed things up on my end, all I can do is wait and draw. So the cover is already done, and you’ll see it in version 0.25. You can check out a censored version of the cover in the image comparing the three covers of the game. It’s funny that even in pixel format, the characters remain recognizable if you look closely.
Those of you who have been with us for a long time probably remember that there were actually four covers, but I decided not to include the very first one in this list… Also, once version 0.25 is out, I’ll likely attach a high-quality file of the cover in one of the following posts.
More good news: since we’re now just waiting on the code, testing, and translation, I spoke with our animator about an additional animated scene. He said he could do it quickly, and it’s already finished. So in version 0.25 you’ll see not five but six animated scenes (two old scenes and four new ones from version 0.25).

That’s all the news for today. Huge thanks for your support, and have a great day!
How cool would it be if the old cover art was default, but got changed to the new one when you reach the latest update content

Probably no, since they extended the Roadmap once to nearly tripple the size of patches before the game is done.

Btw, will there be any problems with the continuation of the game, with the release of version 0.25? Previously, the game ended on the scene of the boss's appearance (as I understand it), and then you are thrown out to the city menu. Will you have to go through the fair again for everything to work as it should?
