Mod Ren'Py Witch Trainer: Silver Mod [v1.46.1] [Silver Studio Games]

just out of curiosity, are you modding silver or vanilla WT?

I started to mod "The Russian Mod" (translating it with Google Translate was an effort, but much of what could be finished in that version is muddied and broken, I discarded it after a gazillion frustrated attempts), then "Bitch Trainer" for awhile, then "WT Silver", now I am happily working with "Feodosiy Mod [v1.02 + Feodosiy Mod Final]", though most of what I'm doing can easily be transposed over to Silver. Which is what I'd like to do, so as to augment what you guys are doing. Very straight forward to make copypasta files and directions on where to drop them (new animations, characters, events, etc,.).

This is an active community with interested parties involved... I was a bit disappointed to see nothing except those fireden posts. So glad to find you lot here!

Plus the vision of Silver is pretty bloody awesome!

All these different types of Ren'Py scripting has been fun to get my head around - been looking at other Ren'Py games coding for to impliment in WT too.

Technically they're all children. If Cho is still in school then that means Hermione is at most a sixth year, and Luna would be a fifth year. So you've already crossed that line right out of the gate.

Naw. Pubescence begins at around 11 or 12 for girls, the Hermione character is clearly not a pre-pubescent child (as attested to by her knockers and minge), but sexually matured and looking at least 18.
Astoria on the other hand, is definitely a kid under 10, included to appease pedos...

Legally they are children until they're 18, whether they're pre or post pubescence is irrelevant.

Going by cannon:

Cho Chang 7th year: 17-18 years old
Hermione Granger 6th year: 16-17 years old
Luna Lovegood 5th year: 15-16 years old (If the mod designers add Ginny she'd be here too)
Daphne Greengrass 4th year: 14-15 years old

Just because the artist can't draw scale properly between Daphne and Genie doesn't mean she's only 10. If you don't like it, find another game to play.

Someday after yesterday and later than tomorrow. Coders, artists and writers are just waiting for the pigs to migrate along with the birds and unicorns taking the subway south for the autumn.

Give it a rest will you. This isn't exactly a full time occupation paying for food and shelter for the people involved. Most people also have primary things to care about like family and so on. So to give a exact schedule for a release is virtually impossible. It comes when it's considered "ready enough".

It's way easier to suspend disbelief of their age in the lore when they look like adults. Astoria literally looks like a child, especially in the frequently-used images of her sitting on the MC's lap, looking like a seven year old. Shit freaks me out too and I really dislike that portrayal.

By comparison, Hermione and the others look like adults or at least of a reasonably legal age. Astoria looks like a preschooler.

Not my logic, @aifman7's logic. Based on an image in the game he posted earlier in the thread he thinks that Daphne is around 10 years old. Going solely on the height difference between her and Genie while she's sitting in his lap.

I guess he's never seen pictures of Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard together.

Ya'll are confused, the girl in Silver is not Daphne Greengrass, it's Astoria. Daphne is the same age as Hermione and Astoria is her younger sister. I don't know if it's mentioned anywhere how much younger but in Silver because of a curse she looks even younger than she is. It's the same excuse in fantasy and/or sci-fi stories where some one says an elf or some alien species looks like a loli but,"She's really 400 years old so it's totally cool and not pedo guys!"

My mistake, I was going off the old Sad Crab mod and you're right Daphne is the older sister. Astoria is two years younger than Daphne. So I named the wrong sister in my previous post about the canon ages. So assuming Cho is in her 7th year, Astoria would be 14-15.
