It's been a while since I played the original Akubar version but the game only had Snape, Hermione and maybe 1 other person. Any stuff that is less hardcore was added by the current team.

only hermione, genie and snape (unless counts delivery owl and pet bird as characters). before this there was sadcrab's and feodosiys mods.

Last I played Witch Trainer Silver, it was version 1.39.4, and I have a save for that.
Now that I download 1.40.1, I'm not able to use this save. It says "Incompatible"

Do I have to start a new game from the beginning ???

(if I try to load my save, I get error-message)

yes, since they had changed stuff inside the game code, old versions' saves don't work.

.. Its unfortunate, because with the rise in 3D rendering and modelling technology, this game is already rapidly outpaced by far superior types of games.

maybe so, yet i still prefer drawn art over alot of the 3dCG in games around here. and i mena, a-LOT.

I haven't got to the new Hermoine CG scenes yet but i seen someone post them a few pages back. I don't like them. Something about it doesn't seem right. It's like they are trying to change how she looks. Bad idea. She is already perfect. Don't mess with perfection.

same there, the Akabur drawings have this certain thing about them, the new ones idk mang.. maybe a attempt for more mainstream-ish..? hard to grasp. maybe it's hand drawn vs computer assisted/CG drawn. not sure.

I prefer stories with seduction, skillful manipulation and finesse - and humilation can be also a part of it.
I'm not saying the game is bad and shouldn't be played
- In fact I have to say that there were lot of funny scenes, innuendos and moments -
but for me the last sequence was an inhumane chauvinistic humiliation,
but some think differently about it and everybody has their own tastes.

I didn't know Akabur until then - and after that I think I don't wanna know him or his games either.

I hope no one feels offended by what I say, that is not my intention.

no offense taken here. thing is, the original Akabur game was exactly about turning that granger girl into a hm, slut, in lack of better terms. it was designed around that goal from the beginning. the word Trainer in the title is misleading.

m8 hermione and luna are the best

Luna is not a hot or alluring character. Her art absolutely sucks, and pulls you out of the game because it looks like nothing else. Mind controlling her is a step waaaay too far imo, and is essentially straight up rape, where the rest of the game (bar susan, who also sucks) is more innocent fun. Lastly, the writing sucks, because it is out of character.

Luna is not a hot or alluring character.

Everyone's idea of hot and alluring is different. I find her hot and alluring. She has that Cate Blanchett/Galadriel vibe.

Still having the blurry text issue, but it's strange; on my laptop the game works OK, but on my main PC it's blurry. both use the same OS, and I have the game on a USB flashdrive so I'm using the same exe file to play on either PC.

So apparently in 1.40.2, you only have 3 options for luna. Talk to her, inspect her body, and watch her masterbate. Slytherin Luna is gone, and all we have is barebones ditzy Luna. Damn shame. smh.
