she's a good little girl so lollipop and owl,

good luck
well, for me neither alcohol nor the little girl suggestion worked lol
for alcohol, she either complains about Firewhisky's smell or about Snape murdering her if she sneaks Wine in...
owl worsens her mood ('toys are for children') and so does lollipop ('I'm not a kid')

I'm waiting to play for the upcoming Tonks content, and I'm getting so impatient. If "update coming soon" means "at least 3 months later" what does soon even mean? It's been nearly 25% of a year since they said that. Unless I'm mistaken, the only new content in 15 months is a new UI and genie jerking off. I am really considering cancelling my Patreon.

This is a very subjective matter, some people support it even without seeing results, simply because they like it. But if you're supporting it, let's say, to speed up the process and end up feeling frustrated when nothing happens, then maybe it's not worth it for you personally. In the end, these are things we can't control, and there's nothing we can really do about it.

What baffles me, is that they copied Akabur's game. Streamlined it, and make over 10-15 k a month from Akabur's creation. These guys deserve the Jack Sparrow award,
The team is not making anywhere close to 10k a month, nevermind over 15k.

my simple solution is, that i'll probly buy it when it's finished and hits the store. that is, if i'm still able to do so, what with age catching up on me and all that.

Do you mean Witchtrainer Silver Mod?

I wanted to write a sarcastic comment in which I wanted to write in very different words that the game is free. But the English language is really limited and only knows free.

That's why I asked Chaty for a translation for once and the AI really went all out:

Oh, you're waiting for the game to be finished before buying it? Well, let me tell you, this game is completely free, absolutely gratis, and totally without charge. It's not just free—it's free free free, costless, complimentary, on the house, and at no expense whatsoever. So, really, there's no reason to wait—it's as free as the air you breathe!

We need to get an AI trained on Robin Williams's voice asap, because that sounds exactly like something Aladdin's Genie would say.

wow well yea AI doesn't necessarily mean intelligent. it's limited by it's devs. i've yet to see a true intelligence from any of those companies.

but actually yes, what i mean is, they do get money for it from me, when they one day some day have finished it, and when it hits the stores in one form or another. it's my basic principle for things in development and you are free to comment on it, it won't change. part of reason is that i've learned expensive lessons with platforms of patreon nature and the likes.

when i do find something interesting and like the idea, or some artform, and i still want this group or that to be able to at least find out if it's going somewhere.. i find forms to drop a donation or such, KNOWING this money is gone and have a one-off expenditure. that money i drop there, is written off, in the very moment i plan to donate. i consider it as well spent.
if a project tends to 'drag on' with less and less hm, let's call it valuable news per time period, then i haven't spent anything 'for nothing' so to speak. i gave it a lil push at the time i saw useful.
luckily, stuff like i.e. Kagura games sells at gog.com, not even a need to steamify any of my systems, and that's finished products, with updates served by gog in the form of patches when they appear, decently maintained. that's where i actually buy games and want my money's worth.

my other post was pointed as a lil push, not more not less. the money is here. it's in the 'games stash box' (fig.) and won't go anywhere. they can have it. all it takes is, to finish the product.

P.S. irony sarcasm whatever, is somewhat lost on me. i do know the concept. i could fake it, probably.
then again, i cheat at Turing tests. they all say i'm human. g'day.

and when it hits the stores in one form or another.
It will never hit the stores; it's based on IP owned by J. K. Rowling and possibly Warner with a smidgen of Disney as well. In other words: If they tried to sell it, they would get sued and the game would be removed from any storefront.

With that said, if they don't delete the Patreon straight away after the final release, you can buy a month there if they ever finish the game or you feel like it is complete enough to warrant reward.

lol.
i left patreon years ago never to look back, see above.
JKR stole the whole basic idea from a 80's movie. she won't dare sue.

not gonna raise that discussion again.
