I am not a big fan of those slider puzzles either. I have the most recent version downloaded and thankfully the developers put in a "frustration bar" as I call it Click randomly enough times and you can simply smash the box. You lose access to some kind of bottle or potion but you receive the ability to locate the Room of Requirement and the mirror. Good luck and have fun.

I don't have the game open before me, but I believe "solve the puzzle" is an option in the cheat menu as well.

I'll allow myself to copy the solution over from our discord:

Common issues:

1. Wardrobe, or interface is crashing..

Error: `Exception: Surface alphas do not match.`

Cause: This error appears because of the invalid game renderer being selected, presumably after playing the experimental branch of the game as settings are shared among retail and developer version of the game.

Solution: Open the game, press SHIFT + G and from the list of renderers pick auto then restart the game.

My dream for Luna would be to keep the normal Luna path and change the Dom Luna into some other girl so we can have both at the same time instead of having to reset Luna. Also the Dom Luna just seems so out of character; it could have been anyone. (Should be some Slytherin girl, actually.)
