What do you mean the investigation of Hermione and Tonks went nowhere? Hermione sends a letter to the ministry, Tonks turns up to investigate, she finds out the teachers are all horn dogs, and tells Genie she wants in. That's where it goes, and always has.

I mean that I finished the game with the option to ask Hermione to help Tonks. Whenever I ask Hermione about it, she says she's working on it. Tonks was pretty wild from the very beggining and I didn't have to do much with her. I also finished all her favours still with this dialogue option.

Yeah a bunch of stuff got taken out unfortunately. Devs wanted to go in a different direction, but overestimated the amount of work that would be required to fill in the gaps. Weird how often this happens in western eroge.

So that's what happened. Thank you for explaining. It's sad to hear. Hopefully all that content is back in a few years so I can enjoy it again. It was by far my favourite.

i still think its weird that the changelog for 1.45.0 is still labeld as "To be done" even tho the update was released like half a year ago and the current version is 1.45.3

Yeah, so, it's just me handling these changelogs for years now. Some personal stuff came up during 1.45 release, and I couldn't get the changes compiled in time. So, for this version, I suggest checking the git logs instead, starting from 1.45 tag. Might consider using AI to help with this in the future though...

Stupid question, I did clone the repository and played the game this way, but its the same version as here v 1.45.3,
Im guessing I have to clone the dev. branch to get the newest version : O ? and since im a n0b (on Windows) you dont have a newbie guide to either switch branch or just clone that branch directly ?!
