seems that you got bugged. try starting new game and if still occurs then download fresh copy and before extracting delete wt silver foldeer under ~\appdata\roaming\renpy and extract fresh download and start new game.

Just noticed 'hardcore mode' says it adds new dialogue and choices. Since that mode also disables cheats - and I don't want to grind through again - could someone tell me what I'm missing out on?

Why do they change positions?

They're the different favor variants. For personal favors, each star relates to a different variant. For public favors, I think there are 3 different variants per star. The stars go up once your whoring stat reaches a certain level, and you won't be able to view lower level variants after that, so play wisely if you want to see everything in one go. Also, save before you do the lower level public ones, because it's randomized and can sometimes level you up too fast if you're trying to see all the variants. Here's a guide from Reddit for the original WT. However, there might be some new public variants in Silver, I can't remember honestly...

The game will end and you won't be able to play any further. Currently, there are two endings: the public ending, and the personal ending. If you want personal, don't make her give blowjobs or anything that comes after it in the public favors menu. If you want public ending, just make her do all the public favors.
