idk why you're saying Epstein and how that changes anything lmao, they're in Hogwarts and are all underaged if you think about how Hogwarts works and they're most assuredly not on their last year where at best they'd have just become of-age.
In case you didn't notice, this game is not very true to its source material.

Did I miss that or something or is that some "I'm your landlady/I'm your roommate" type deal?
I've seen nothing to suggest that it's a university. The whole ethos seems to be that of a school. For one thing, universities don't have headmasters. And while some British schools have "houses" and "house points", I don't think any universities do.

That said, it's possible that Hogwarts has some older students than muggle schools do, since the magical world doesn't seem to have its own universities. But even in British state schools, though pupils can leave at 16, the large proportion who choose to stay on for their "A-levels" generally turn 18 during their final year. So there's nothing to prevent all the characters being over 18.

Yes, that's why I mentioned that at best, they've just turned of-age (in Britain's case anyway) because they mention that to Apparate or get the license for it, you need to be 17. Same with Harry's mom's magical protection turning off the moment he became 17, because it was the legal age in Britain and thus Harry is his own man.

I also said not-Yule-Ball because though the dress Hermione gets is what she wears during that ball, the Yule Ball is merely just a festival companion piece to the Triwizard Tourney in the books. So at best they really are only in their 4th year or so.

And I'm not fighting to push that they're under 18, I really don't care if they're 18 or not, but I also feel like their ages are just the good old porn excuse of "18 because we have to" rather than it being actually the case because there's more outside their figures to point out they're the former than the latter lol

There are quite a few English universities which have a house-based system. They're usually the more distinguished, older schools, though, like Oxford and Cambridge.

The long and the short of it is that Hogwarts in the game is a university-level educational institution. This is Word of God, and I believe that it's referenced in the game - though I couldn't tell you where for sure. As you can no doubt tell, some changes have been made to the HP timeline and lore from the books. For instance, Voldemort never met Professor Quirrell in the forests of Bavaria, so he's still dead/a wandering spirit. Some other events have been changed or happen concurrently.

It's definetly Landlady/roomate situation. In these porn games the school is always refered as "universitY" despite looking like highschool to avoid getting yoru game taken down for porn concerning underaged characters. Youngest people are always 18 even if they look younger even if they don't participate in any sexual scenario and when youmake porn parody like this then everyone is aged up.

They do this in official english translations of japanese VN's too. There Girls who clearly look 14 at best are said to be 18 years old and attending university.

Not that it affects things, but the Oxford and Cambridge colleges are not houses in the Hogwarts sense but each one is effectively a university in its own right.

Like I said again, I've no big gripe if they're written one way or another. Like if there's someone who makes an incest mod usually I just apply that because the whole "we CANT do this I'm your landlady!" just takes me out of it, but I think Witch Trainer goes about it fine which is to just never state anything at least I don't think the original Akabur one didn't maybe the Silver team added some lines I don't remember anymore, where if your immersion swings better one way or the other they don't need to announce.

Summertime Saga is still a funny one where your landlady clearly talks about your dad in the most wife way possible but hey ofc they're not husband and wife, because that would mean you'd be fucking your mom! So she's your landlady and her daughter is your "roommate" lol.
