but dont like... other teams have these issues too? i also didnt know it was a team, i thought it was just one guy... which, to your point, shows i dont know what im talking about... but also.... really? A WHOLE TEAM?! yikes.... anyone here expecting the finished game to be as good as GTA VI?
You're right, nobody expects GTA VI from the Silver Team. But if you actually take a look at the latest version, the sheer amount of 'grunt work' and attention to detail in every single scene is insane.

It’s a small, dedicated team—Silver (Art & Lead), Dizzy (Coding), G-Row (Writing), and Livvy (Community). The level of polish they pour into manual script triggers and custom art assets is exactly why it takes time; it’s hand-crafted quality for a project that is, in the end, completely free for everyone.

As for the Patreon: those supporters know exactly what they’re getting. Everything is handled transparently on their Discord and devblogs for anyone who’s actually willing to look. It's not about 'slow' development, it's about the heart and effort required for this level of detail.

hey, i take your points, and i am totally ignorant about the behind the scenes, but it does feel like he is just kinda milking this project. im guessing he doesnt have any other project or prospects planed for the future. it seems like the 5-year plan is to just stretch this game out.

there are games out there that do seem to get frequent updates, i havent played them, and i have no idea if they have a team or not, but games like grandmothers house, eternium, summertime saga to name a few, those literally, i pretty much just saw those name on the "similar threads" section below. games that im more familiar with, but still not familiar with the behind the scenes stuff are MMA life simulator, friends in need, and my italian slut wife. they all seem to be chugging along pretty well. sure they are slower then id like... but not like 10 years slow or anything....

and my point with grand theft auto was that i bet it finished faster with many supporters paying less overall, but i absolutely take your point about this game being free to everyone and only charging for those who choose to pay, so i concede, you win... but i still think hes milking it a little, lol

This is nearly correct, though I'm not sure where you came up with most of the people on the team's names.
