where do i go after the first boss? there seems to be a door locked by tentacles but i have no idea how to break it

use the new spell the boss should have given you (L Shift, has seen in the bottom right)
Every boss you defeat should drop a spell you need to use to progress.

You defeated the boss with all the visual bugs disrupting your view having basically all the screen white?

Not really sure what you mean but i already used the tentacles weapon to break them, thanks anyway
