Judging by the gameplay of Demon's Sperm and Juuyoku no Jousai there is a chance that his next game could be a lot better even if it's still using 3d models. We'll just have to wait and see...

I think I'd prefer if he went back to his older works like Demons Sperm (and Succubus Fist, both top tier imo) and gave them official english translation patches, mainly so I could know what the fuck is going on with their plots

If they want to fall further into this full-on quality nosedive when it took this long for that game to reach 1k buys, that's fine because it's their time and money. I prefer it when devs are honest about refusing to improve themselves because it means I can unfollow their blogs on the spot, rather than waiting 6 months to a year for more disappointment. Now that more nsfw devs are moving from sticky slim-flat female characters to thick-set ones they're really not that special anymore.

I cannot believe how entitled they're being about this though. Maybe they sacked their sprite artist after they created the very few pixel assets this game has? Beats me.

I played through the whole game just to see how terrible this is, and yes, it's fucking awful.
Y'all are right, but maybe don't conclude it with "it's just Mario" because this feels like playing through a bunch of shitty Mario Maker levels under a really crap platforming game engine.

There's this one level that stuck with me:

You drop from a hole above and onto a small block, which you do by moving to the hole, right?
Turns out the game carries your momentum for everything, so by moving right and fall, your character slightly moves to the right through no fault of your own. Trying to readjust your trajectory mid-air are usually useless, since turning in this game reset your speed to zero but doesn't affects momentum, so you can only readjust it by a little.

The fact that you can just buy a bunch of lives from the machine on the map renders death a non-factor, but it really shows how unfun to play that this game is.

The momentum in all directions feels like your keyboard has gum stuck under the keys.

I hate how fast it is. You've got the camera scroll speed of sonic but with more precise jumps. Animations are also just crap. This feels like a dev's first game from over a decade ago.

Funny thing is his first platformer game Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom which was released in 2012 was a much much MUCH better game. It had it's flaws and was very simple but it is waaaaay more enjoyable then this.

I thought Demon's Sperm was overrated, but it was still fine.
Juuyoku I thought people were way too lenient on. Real dip in quality imo.
Ruins Trip was barely a game.

Fullfrap was literally my gateway to doujin games, heck pretty sure my first adult game was from them even. So it is even more personal for me.
As far as my opinions on their games go:
Shin Sei Den has the best lewd content, even just in general. Literally god tier animation. However the gameplay was very weak, it gets very boring because the difficulty gets stupidly easy pretty quick. It didn't have the most well thought out combat. It was pretty ambitious though which deserves praise.
Demon Sperm is the opposite, probably the most well designed gameplay but the lewd content is far too few in number and rare to find.
Juuyoku I would put right in the middle between those two. Decent gameplay and lewds. I feel like most of it's limitations came from the game's genre itself. Top-down dark souls just doesn't work as well. Probably comes down to preference though.
Inma no Ken (Succubus Fist) is a game I think worth to mention as well. That was just an overall pretty well designed game. Lewd content was also cleverly integrated since that was the way you could restore health.

I am honestly so sad about how this game turned out, I was always so hype for a new game from them. I can only pray they get back on their feet with their next game.
