Nah. This dev has 99 problems but milking ain't one. He is pretty good about releasing. I think what's happened lately is that the bugs got so bad that the game was mostly unplayable. so he got a tester, and now has a much slower release cycle. Game quality has gone up somewhat, so this is not a bad thing.

I said good about releasing, not good at releasing. The game is a buggy mess, no question about it. People, including me, still follow the guy anyway because the content is relatively uncommon (lezcest).

Actually releasing is important as hell. If a guy is a shit programmer than it is what it is, but at least he's putting it out there. I'd much rather have a guy releasing what he can than someone sitting on a release for months or years. Never-released code might as well not exist. At least he's actually trying.

A really good dev can do both, obviously. But this guy is _not_ particularly good at game creation, so he struggles. If that bothers you, go elsewhere.

If he made content I didn't like, or his art was ugly, I'd not put up with it. But the bits of the game that actually work right make me happy, so he's doing better than most of the games around here.

I totally agree. But when one bites more than one can chew, maybe it's a good idea to bite less. A simpler design of the game could be less of a pain for the developper, and for the player. Same for the other game by this developper.

[Edit] As I understand it, some are here to vomit their venom, most are here because they like what this game could be, perhaps not what it is right now. The developper might consider changing the architecture of the game.

Yeah... I'm hoping he gives up on sandboxes and triggers and just writes a nice simple VN with some minor branches. Get the hang of that, generate some credibility in the community, then go back and try something more challenging.

I am here because in spite of the mistakes made with the first version of this VN, the Dev made the effort to try to give it an ending. I don't care that much about Sandbox. They have a place, yes, but a simple, well written, well paced VN is better for me.
This is what made me jump into this immediately. Making mistakes is inevitable, learning from them and attempt to overcome them is commendable.

I am waiting for the continuation of this story, it is one of the good ones.

I am here because in spite of the mistakes made with the first version of this VN, the Dev made the effort to try to give it an ending. I don't care that much about Sandbox. They have a place, yes, but a simple, well written, well paced VN is better for me.

But I think there is a bug! because once you have unlocked a "Hidden image" it will not remain Unlocked !
ie. If you leave the game , the next time you play all the "Hidden images " will be locked.
