Um... I was so confused in the initial scene in the dorm, the sprite. Uh... that dude looks like a chick. Is that a dude?.... Nah... can't be.... but yep, it's a dude. Sorry, I couldn't get past the pretty-boy chick-dude. It ripped me out of any semblance of "getting into the story". How about making the AI dudes look like... you know... dudes? The females are great, but the males need to be more.... male.

Big windy map combined with lack of guidance or markers means I'm spending a little too much time just running around searching for stuff to feel rewarded by the content, but then again maybe I'm not the target audience as someone who prefers a clear way to progress.
EDIT: Also the gallery, sometimes options menus have a habit of not disappearing after you close them, the gallery and possibly other menus don't resize with the game letting buttons get cut off, and shadows setting is not saved when you load a save with it disabled.

Games kinda unstable in some areas, you can even fall outta bounds. But some things won't let you click them or the doors can be kinda finicky to actually click on and enter, so anyhow not sure if that helps, but try and reason which event you should do and if none of them seems like they are likely atm, then pick the option to sleep. This game requires a lot of lateral thinking and spacial awareness, the map here isn't even fully complete and sometimes you have to figure out what the most reasonable thing would be.

Noted, thanks. Will be looked at. As for the lack of directions, I hope the new map and quest tracker will remedy with SOME of that, but I'm definitely looking at more ways to improve navigation + more clarification on how to use the navigation tools in general

Kek this is definitely one of the funniest criticisms to date, but hey it's fine and understandable if that breaks immersion for you. If you ever do give it a shot again, you can rest easy knowing it's only that one guy and not a general trend. That said, they ARE teenagers, so I don't personally find it too strange that a few of them look girly

Some of it is definitely that there are things that are intentionally left to the player to discover and figure out, some of it is that there's still a lot of clean-up left for me to do. Like you mentioned, some doors (and really goes for any object) are a bit finnicky still. Has to do with that each "interaction range" is manually set by me and I haven't found all of the ones that haven't been updated to accomodate the increased range of the new camera. Zooming in just a bit should fix most issues with that but I realise it's obviously annoying so fixes are coming. Also, there is in fact a job in the tavern a bit later! And thanks for playing!

Super confused about why you can't save mid quest. I think saving anywhere unless inside dialogue/a scene should be allowed. There are just strings of quests that do not allow you to save for 30 minutes+ and console commands don't work for me so not sure how to force save with the save command.
Partly a design decision, partly to let me cut some corners. I think particular scenes being self-contained and not allowing you to leave / save during them creates a weird sense of coziness mixed with stress, and gives more meaning to certain choices in that you can't walk back on them (at least not easily), but I can also see how for some it's mostly just stressful. Time saving wise, it means the save system doesn't have to keep track of the changing states of characters and conversations, which lets me create content faster and reduces load times. Might be looked at soon

pls add more sex scene content
It's definitely coming

I'm loving this game so far, it's a great mix of Dialogue/Art/Lore that makes all the characters really unique and special. It's a fun and light-hearted atmosphere, while at the same time it doesn't ever fall in childish/inconsequential territory. All the events and new maps are a blast, and are very refreshing and well timed in between streaks of "castle quests". The AI artwork is amazing, I really hope if it ever becomes hand-drawn, it will be really similar.

I guess my only complaint is content tracking, as I'm really worried to miss out on dialogue options or scenes, so the fact that it's sometimes a bit buggy makes me wonder if I'm skipping anything. Something I'd personally love to see, is a marker to identify if a dialogue is going to have content, or progress the story in any way. Some interactions are one-time only, but don't have any impact on the story or the content, and I always end up running every dialogue combination before moving forward. (tbh is my own problem, but that would totally help). A "3d unlocked scenes" menu would also be nice.

Otherwise is great, the exploration feels a little overwhelming at first (but then again, I've never played a single harry potter game that isn't incredibly hard to navigate. Hogwarts being a town-sized castle with a few thousand rooms and corridors can't really be circumvented...), but once you run around enough, it's a great exploring experience. Better minimap or quest tracking might be good, but also kills a bit of that feel. And I find myself never learning the routes when I follow a tracking system...

Can't wait to see where the game goes, and highly recommend everyone gives it a chance before making up their mind about it, because it definitely gets better the further you progress.

I never really go out of my way to write my opinion, but this game deserved some love amidst the vocal minority of complaints.

Oh wow, first of all, thanks a lot, seriously! Actually means a lot.
I definitely hear you on the fear of missing out on stuff thing. Still trying to find the balance between meaningfully rewarding choices and making sure the player doesn't fuss too much about possibly missing major scenes. As a start, the gallery is probably going to be segmented into acts so that it's easier to see what you did/didn't unlock during a period of the game. After that, I'm definitely looking at how conversations and their options are handled. Like you said, they don't always make it clear if you did in fact skip past something. The way it works rn is that options will almost always advance the conversation, rather than providing some trivia or w/e and weaving back into the main branch, but I'm exploring having some of these conversations paths in fact loop back to the main branch to make it more difficult to miss stuff. Honestly tho some kind of tag like that on the conversation or option level would work just as well, really. Might end up on being a toggable option in the menu. Got a couple of more things to say on the topic in general soon, but it's late and my brain is much, but I had to reply here
Again thanks a lot for playing!

The game doesn't make this very clear, but if you have the Day's End quest, you can sit in the chair in your room and wait till it's past curfew and everybody is asleep. I'll make sure it is more clear how to use this feature in the next update!

If you have finished Potions class, simply talking to him should teleport you to the bath

how can i get galeons?
Mostly from roaming around searching for things to click on but some side quests people give you will include some as part of the payoff, but some of those also require you to have stats and/or reputation of certain levels so talk to everybody you can interact with to find them.

I finally found the hidden treasure, and it was in a new game, and exactly where I thought it would be. I searched that place over and over again on the last save, and never got anything to click on, this time it came right up.
