I just played through properly, and my two major concerns are the camera and the controls. The camera seems to be fixed into this awkward downward tilt, which means I spend most of the time looking at the top of the screen to see where I'm going, and that's supremely irritating. The controls are also strange, with the ball in the neuron level (whatever that was) being really prone to either rocketing off at the slightest touch or stopping completely with little warning, the only consistency I could tell being that touching a wall immediately cancelled the jump. Likewise, movement around the school was difficult as pressing 'S' resulted in the character sliding very slowly forward like a horror movie villain.
I'll also say that it can be difficult finding your way around the castle. The characters do lightly point you towards where you need to go, but it's easy to click past and even then only really tells you what name you're looking for on the door, not where to find the door itself. Some signs placed around Hogwarts would be greatly appreciated, as would closing off all those empty corridors with very little in them. Trying to do away with quest markers is admirable, but you need to tell directions using the environment if you do that, or people will still get lost easily. I spent 15 minutes looking for the charms classroom - not conducive to my boner, let me tell you.
I will say that I downloaded this version a bit back and from some of the comments it looks like it might already be fixed, but given the interface is the only part of the game you will ALWAYS be interacting with it's very important to make sure it's fantastic.
