I put the swf file into the same folder as the XMas one, but instead of the Flash player being playable, it was the swf file. What went wrong there

That's how it works, use felixthetrap's .swf to play the special or to use the .exe turn back time (on your PC) to 2016.

No the only visual options are smoothing that's on by default, and (stretch to) fullscreen.

If it's the Xmas special put felixthetrap's .swf in the games main folder, then drag it into something like

to start the game without having to change the date on your PC.

it's 2020 and this is still the most bought game(overall) on eng DLsite lol....that being said. I periodically check to see if anyone has attempted de-mosaicing the game but alas, to no avail lol. I know it would be no easy task for this game...and you would need the og .fla files to edit in adobe animate or something I believe and then repacking it into a projector again. At least, that's my guess.
