And in the creation of 4 new characters, I was 75% successful. Unfortunately, one of the new characters I'm going to have to redo.

Just leaving this here. And a quote from my itchio.

About the next update: It's taking a little longer than usual, due to real-life difficulties and the challenge of creating new characters.

I was 80% successful, but unfortunately, one of the new characters didn't pass quality control, and I had to redo it.

One of the new characters is featured in one of the preview renders, and I can say that her storyline has as much potential as Holly's and that she will shake up Elizabeth's world.

And the creation and choice of scenarios, such as houses and rooms. Sometimes, some seem cool on paper, but when it comes to working, some assets are heavier than my current hardware can handle.

My option is to discard and use lighter assets, which costs me time.

Enough writing about negative things, it's time to write about the bright side of the next update.

The focus will be on the plot and Elizabeth and her girls. I am currently working on the spiciest scenes of the next update, and I must take care not to rush it.

I don't have an ETA for either the final version or the Alpha version that I'm releasing first on my SubscribeStar.

Thank you, it's cool to create something that people like and see a post about this, especially after working hard to launch the beta version of the next update this week.

I have a few theories about the rest of the post, some things are better kept to myself. I have some flaws, starting with my former nickname.

Tomorrow I will release for my SubscribeStar Tier 3, which is a complete version with all scenes, although I feel that some renders are needed for the final version, minor stuff like my non-animated scenes.

For the public version, the deadline I've set for myself is 8/20, but I'll probably release it sooner.

I created a patch for myself to rename all the named characters in the game. There's no 'proper' interface or anything since it was just for myself - just brings up a few menus. It doesn't touch any of the existing files or adversely affect the saved games (it just creates a few new variables that will get saved). Just unzip it it into the game folder and restart the game, it'll add a text button on the bottom left of the screen.

Latest patch includes characters up to v0.0.6_F

Why do you need a renaming patch?
If you disassemble the rpa, there is a characters.rpy and define.rpy file in the folder where you can call anyone whatever you want.
