I have the same problem and i also tried to run it in 640x480, but Each time i got a black screen then i'm back on the desktop with the game windowed ( look like a 640/480 window) then it just shutdown after a few seconds.

Can anyone help ?

Can I get a more detailed installation guide? I really can't seem to get this to work. It keeps telling me im missing a .dll file that i downloaded and moved to the right directory. Also isn't there a more recent Win10 compatible version?

It strange. Cant finish the game because missing one Stone table and cant go to next level in

. As I suppose it is impossible to finish the game if for some reason was not found all tables in time of firtst part of the game for shadow side and ofcourse impossible to return to old maps. Checked all levels points of second part using guide but there is no tables anymore. Missing stone table which replaces card on 1x1 coordinates in items list and this card was one of 1st found items.

Anyone got some directions on how to get out of funky town?

It's not completely unplayable, but combar and navigation are way harder this way. Worst case I could also go with emulation, but I would prefer it working natively.

Do you find a way to fix it?

I finished the game on virtual machine windows XP. If someone have that problem, you can try VM.

Ok I have a problem with screen flickering when I start/play the game but it isn't present in the CGs well it stops flickering and crashing if I follow the "turn off graphics card instructions", but then I have the no colors glitch

How? I tried using Virtual Box and auto-mounting the shared file but it refused to install giving some error message in Japanese instead, even after I changed the region and language to Japanese. That's if I try to use the file after doing the whole CD mount thing, if I try to use the file as is right after downloading it here then it doesn't work at all and needs some special software

I don`t remember much, but for me I`m installed oracle VM virtualbox windows XP, then installed game and it worked good. I don`t even remember if I need to change locale to japanese on VM. Maybe I need, then be careful you need change system LOCALE, not region and language.

The game is very good, you need to go through some hardships if you want to run it playable, but for me it`s worth it 100%.

Fuck it I just decided to play it with the broken graphics, side note do you know whether kissing or not kissing Sharon before the time skip is better? I hear this game has multiple endings

If I remember correctly, you pick ending in the choice in the end of the game, so this choices through the game doesn`t matter.
