He barely puts out a post-group per month anymore (and it's only a "group" because he splits polls and tier-releases on the same day).

For some reason, V0.89 has not been released to the public. It is almost time for V0.90 to be released if he follows the former schedule of public releases about 3 weeks after the patreon release.

Taking in consideration the slow rate of development, dev attitude towards player base and the obvious direction game is taking I'd say it's going to be at least 2-3 years til the combat system is implemented and UI improved (if that happens at all).

I see no point in "helping the development" for such a long period of time with no palpable results. Maybe when those are in place I will consider donating.
