I think the techincal term is "selfcest". Whatever it would be, it would be a hell of a lot better than what it is right now.

That is probably part of peoples negative response because the banner clearly shows a female cyborg not a male so for those that did pay attention to the fact this game would move between fantasy and science fiction (plenty didn't and would have been happy with just the fantasy game side continuing, which honestly at this point would have been the best move and just made to separate games if the dev also wanted a sci fi one). Then bam male cyborg that is claimed to be you even though has basic physical difference and an important one in a porn game so you can't claim that they are the same.

Then the dragging out of the cyborg stuff with so many same updates has just aloud the negativity to simmer when maybe if the establishment of the two bodies or whatever the real plan is had been sorted in 2 updates enough people would have gotten pasted it.

Honestly this game unless the next update is massive and deals with the cyborg in a way people really like this game (so very unlikely) will become a master class in what not to do when trying to make a game as an independent dev first game. 1 its very ambitus world plan as even established writers fail to mix sci fi and fantasy stories especially when they are literally to parallel stories going on that are easily separate. 2 establishes/attracts a set audience then proceeds to do the one thing that that audience will not like. 3 deals with that dislike in an unconvincing way and does it so painfully slow it just annoys people further.

I agree with everything you said except that I think there is no way that having the male cyborg around (interacting with/fucking the LIs) would be accepted by most players, no matter how quickly it was fully implemented. The ironic thing is that it's just so completely unnecessary for the story anyway since the MC is going to set up a fast travel portal from the Club in Dark Falls straight to his bedroom at home anyway. The only thing that the cyborg enables is MC going to sci-fi school and fantasy school at the same time. But if that's really what he wanted to do, it would have been super easy to just do what Ataegina does and have the MC use magic to create copies of himself which are all completely indistinguishable from the original and are all perfectly linked to the MC's consciousness, which the cyborg objectively isn't, despite the dev trying to claim that he is. Currently, it's not too late since the cyborg hasn't touched any of the LI's, even though he's (optionally, as if that makes it any better) spied on them before the alleged consciousness joining, but as soon as the cyborg mess around with an actual LI, the game will have fully self-destructed.

My personal opinion having a male cyborg is never going to work but part of the issue is the cyborg still hasn't been resolved so that maybe in that sentence is doing a massive amount of heave lifting and honestly if its going the way 99% of us assume is which is that very clear direction then im probably done with this game for good and will stick it on ignore.

I have written maybe comments on here critical of the cyborg stuff so i guess i was trying to be slightly generous that maybe if it was resolved quickly maybe a version of it would have been tolerable to an audience but I highly doubt it.

I think it was a waste of a game to bring in a guy cyborg who has a lot of the same things as MC and if they are linked in any way, then you can immediately put at least a sharing tag on the list. So my game ends there. If the dev had to bring that fucking tin can into the game they would have just stuck with the female character. Then the sex stuff would have come into play. If that female character sees things the same way the MC does or experiences or feels, then it wouldn't drive players away as much as that male character. At least at my site ALL other men are always banned and the game ends pretty quickly. And there is no going back. At the moment that tin can gets way too much attention and should at most be a sidekick and not another MC. At the same time all the linking between the MC and the tin can is way too much which goes to the point of sharing or worse. To be honest, that cyborg is a completely unnecessary addition to this. We would have just been dealing with the normal world and the magic world and left this shit out completely.
