did you figure out how to close the phone after text with brook I tried to press the button many times but it didn't work

Actually, mine was on the 22nd. I had just walked past Officer Little's car. It turns out that I still had some texts with Nancy and Kenji though the indicators didn't seem to show it. Hitting Write and Reply for all of those got me past it.

There is a hotfix you can download to fix the problem with not being able to close the phone on day 16
