I'm not interested in diving into any discussion about quantity vs. quality. I spend about $50/mo on Patreon supporting devs who have a good product, who keep their promises, and who have reasonably frequent updates. The question here is whether I'd be interested in supporting a product with quarterly updates rather than monthly. The answer is 'No'.
