To put it simply, They just attack what they can't let themselves understand, find the time to understand or find the truth of. They feel a sense of danger from pursuing the truth and maybe they are in danger, who knows what kind of environment they are in or grew up in? That's why they're so heated about it. Maybe enjoying NTR games will totally flip their minds upside down and they won't know how to function normally after, maybe they won't be able to get it up when having sex, maybe they won't be able to see their crush in a normal way anymore etc.
All of these are not gonna happen of course but the fear is just too strong.

People will always comment more on what they hate than what they like. If 100 people liked something perhaps 10 of them would leave a review, but if said 100 people hated something, 80-85 of them would absolutely leave a negative review.

NTR is just the fetish that has the most haters, but still it's just a minority, most people just ignore what they don't like since it's absolutely pointless, however I have to point it out that even those haters have different tolerances related to what they call NTR.

For example, some will hate NTR but will like netori, some would accept their harem to have sex with each other even if the MC isn't present, others would even accept NPC x NPC relationships if no main girl is in said scene (a.k.a all romantic interests of MC).

In the end it's just a question of personal tolerance and overall tolerance. Personally I'm mid level in the sense that I can perfectly play any game in which NTR isn't forced, however depending on the gameplay you may end up in a situation that while was avoidable at the start, gets to a point in which it isn't.

I think it depends on how one plays a AVN. Me personally I don't really care about my MC one way or another it's more like a tool to tell a story and get to know characters and pic choices based on what is fun or just what want to do. So I treat sex scenes like a porno just there to watch and enjoy it but who is in it doesn't mater all that much most of the time , until I take overwhelming liking to a LI then I look forward to it alot. But if that LI got NTR'd id be okay with if it made sense in a story and depending on the context and type of game might make dislike a LI. So generally i'll play anything really besides a few select tags I just dont want to see like loli's.

So NTR doesn't bother me but it isn't a favorite of mine or anything as it usually comes across more porny than making sense in a story. Typically I have the opinion NTR doesn't belong in most story driven games as it just ruins it and makes no sense. But NTR is more for porno AVN's where you just want to shut your brain off and enjoy something as a guilty pleasure.

The problem with NTR is that it's melodrama. Melodrama exists to liquate the narrative and convert it into pure, unadulterated, raw feeling for the viewer and for NTR, that feeling is horny. well I was more talking about when there is nothing going on yet with a MC. For example first day of school MC sees a potential LI having sex in the bathroom. Some would scream NTR because she is on the LI list or vis versa for the mother and father. When I say relationship I mean being exclusive cause yeah if it's a FWB relationship for example but nothing beyond that I don't see it as be NTR until it turns into a commitment of some sort.

ikr , but if you look closely , in the NTR games they always try to bully the dev to remove any such content ( lot succeeded tho i remember game with farm theme where one of li had affair with animal they builled the dev to remove the scene so you get what i mean ) ntr fans will ask if the game have such content if not they will leave unlike the others will ignore the tag and dev mesgs ......
