I get that then. That would be some dumb shit to add it to a game that's never had it up to that point. It's just like in mainstream games if you try to get a super wide audience you most likely won't get anyone to play.

I don't really agree with the use of the word "hypocrisy" when describing what kinds of fiction you privately enjoy. I think the word only makes sense when applied to real-world actions.
But whether or not the word applies, it's not a "fault of character."
You're allowed to have selfish fantasies. That's not hypocritical, that's normal. A massive amount of erotica is selfish by nature, and that is 100% okay and says nothing one way or the other about one's character or behavior in the real world.
To put it simply, They just attack what they can't let themselves understand, find the time to understand or find the truth of. They feel a sense of danger from pursuing the truth and maybe they are in danger, who knows what kind of environment they are in or grew up in? That's why they're so heated about it. Maybe enjoying NTR games will totally flip their minds upside down and they won't know how to function normally after, maybe they won't be able to get it up when having sex, maybe they won't be able to see their crush in a normal way anymore etc.
All of these are not gonna happen of course but the fear is just too strong.
Real Life NTR on the other hand, that's a whole can of worms I'll leave that to actual swingers and cuckolds. I don't know its long term effects, I don't wanna try it, I don't want to entertain it, it frightens me.

People will always comment more on what they hate than what they like. If 100 people liked something perhaps 10 of them would leave a review, but if said 100 people hated something, 80-85 of them would absolutely leave a negative review.
NTR is just the fetish that has the most haters, but still it's just a minority, most people just ignore what they don't like since it's absolutely pointless, however I have to point it out that even those haters have different tolerances related to what they call NTR.
For example, some will hate NTR but will like netori, some would accept their harem to have sex with each other even if the MC isn't present, others would even accept NPC x NPC relationships if no main girl is in said scene (a.k.a all romantic interests of MC).
In the end it's just a question of personal tolerance and overall tolerance. Personally I'm mid level in the sense that I can perfectly play any game in which NTR isn't forced, however depending on the gameplay you may end up in a situation that while was avoidable at the start, gets to a point in which it isn't.

I think it depends on how one plays a AVN. Me personally I don't really care about my MC one way or another it's more like a tool to tell a story and get to know characters and pic choices based on what is fun or just what want to do. So I treat sex scenes like a porno just there to watch and enjoy it but who is in it doesn't mater all that much most of the time , until I take overwhelming liking to a LI then I look forward to it alot. But if that LI got NTR'd id be okay with if it made sense in a story and depending on the context and type of game might make dislike a LI. So generally i'll play anything really besides a few select tags I just dont want to see like loli's.

i really love NTR if its avoidable i don't enjoy The Japanese games where you play as guy and the whole story is about your wife cucking you without anyway to fight back or if this story only about this i don't play them , but i love games that have NTR and sharing as avoidable content where in first you build your relationship with the girl and get to know her and plot forwards then you get the choices either share your girl or not and ( based on your choices in story would she cheat or not ) so yeh i really hate when people act as if the LI are real girls and act jealous its game and i'm not the MC and no one in their mind in real life would want to see his other cheat or be shared but here in porn games i play and have fun , so NTR actually gives the dev so many ideas to the games , Like harem games when you play them you always know whatever you choose nothing will bite you back because every girl falls for you and all guys are cucks and you are the chosen one so even if let's say guys kidnap your Li you know nothing will happen because it IS Harem game and the dev said already NO NTR so the dev will be limited in everything , that's why i feel like the Dev should keep all options open in his story , NTR/sharing/Domination and romance they can be used together to create really good games in my opinion

The problem with NTR is that it's melodrama. Melodrama exists to liquate the narrative and convert it into pure, unadulterated, raw feeling for the viewer and for NTR, that feeling is horny. But if you're not into NTR, then the horny misses the mark and you're left with nothing but a pointlessly wrecked narrative.

well I was more talking about when there is nothing going on yet with a MC. For example first day of school MC sees a potential LI having sex in the bathroom. Some would scream NTR because she is on the LI list or vis versa for the mother and father. When I say relationship I mean being exclusive cause yeah if it's a FWB relationship for example but nothing beyond that I don't see it as be NTR until it turns into a commitment of some sort.
