"Whatever can be out this month will be out this month"..... based on his current track record we can assume he will release zero content, unless this site now considers excuses an update?

Well that's quite simple, it doesn't meet the site's criteria to be labeled abandoned.
To be labeled abandoned a game must meet at least one of the following three criteria:
1) The dev states that the game is abandoned
2) The dev is inactive on all known platforms (more or less) for at least 3 months
3) The game has not been updated in at least 18 months

like a few others said, the Dev is still "active" on discord and showing he is still in "development" therefore it cant be tagged as abandoned
More render work to do... No update this month. Maybe in a couple of months.

actually if this thread or anyone have any kind of offtoci thing mods can and will shutdown the offtoic message,so rules can be bend a little bcs as by a couple of months ago this thread is offtopic only ,if they can bend the line for this im pretty sure they can blend the abandoned tag also,....or not?

basicly hes saying that because the mods lossend the rules on this thread (so f95 doesn't have have to hire a full time Mod for it)
that f95 can delete off-topic/mod WVM threads and bend the abandon tag to slap it on this
