The WVM March Madness voting it going strong with over 160 votes cast. Due to some issues members have had with it I will no longer be posting updates about the status as we go. I will do the recap at the conclusion of each round and post the new link for the next round of voting. Based off feedback I will no longer run things like this or the tier list any more as I don't like some of what I have heard is going related to it. I was just looking to do something to share my joy of the game, the characters, and the community.
I think the exact reason was someone suggested having one after they moved and saw the pool and he just said yes.

WTF man?!! (@ the situation, not you) Waifu Wars should be in good fun. Do so many people really get legitimately upset and offended just because someone doesn't like a character that they do, or because they just like another character more?? Or am I misunderstanding the situation? To parrot a tired quote, because I can't help but feel it applies: "Why so serious?"
Ugh. Maybe I'm not even one to talk. Just wish it was something we could all have fun doing.

There seems to be real anger coming from posters if you don't like Bailey, Stacy or Jamie.

Then there has been a misunderstanding, none of the regulars here would get angry because you don't like a certain character.

There is an actual reason this is happening (which i cant talk about). Nothing to do with people opinions, also regulars wont hate you for liking a character, we might joke on but never lash out .

Sorry if I ever come off that way about Stacy or Jamie. They are my favorites and at times I may go overboard when I talk about them, I try to do it in a respectable way. I just like to point out that without Jamie's encouragement of creating a Harem or Stacy's actions when Ryker kidnapped the MC, the game would not be in a good place. It's my personal opinion so I understand if you don't agree with me on it.
I've been wanting to write about this game for a while, but it was only after reading a lot of the other comments that I realized I wasn't alone in some of the problems that this game has.
You, as the MC heads off to a university that is apparently so small that it only has initials instead of a name. Coming along with him are his best friend (a woman or trans woman, depending on choices you make at the beginning of the game), his gf and his adoptive mom (because what's dorm life without Mom nearby, amiright?)
Wackiness ensues, with a single class to attend, a barely intelligible plot that kinda sorta sorts itself out (?) and oh so many girls to please. It is in this last part that the game starts to move from game through fantasy and high-diving into incredulity.
Your gf gives you permission to share yourself with other women (because that is *just* what high school women are known for) and you dive in head first to sleeping with several different women. The choices pretty much span the entire gamut of fetishes, from geriatric to near-loli aged women of all races, shapes and sizes. And even if you want to avoid a lot of transexual interaction, its probably not completely avoidable. There is no option, however, for the mc to get it on with another dude; the closest you can get to that is penis-play with his trans friend.
An admirable task - quisque pro omnibus, and all that. However, this is where the game grows unwieldy. While most players want to fool around with one or two women, your character parses out a physical and emotional relationship with no less than a half-dozen women, and the dev has suggested that the number will likely rise.
Therein lies the problem. There is no real way to limit this number of women, and the relationships feel artificial and forced as you bounce (like a basketball?) between the different female characters, all of them wanting more and more time with the you - time you just don't have.
I am not sure how the dev can get out of the corner he's painted himself into. In a lot of ways, this game reminds me of Something Unlimited, wherein more and more female characters are added to add new distractions to the daily activity. Perhaps the dev needs to allow the MC to start paring down the numbers of women who would *want* to be part of the harem (I know which ones I would choose, and I suspect other players have favorites, too).

Stacy's one of my personal favorites. I was so disappointed that the dev is trying to introduce yet ANOTHER freckle-faced redhead (and has stated a preference for this trucker-faced woman). I mean, he hasn't even done anything with Stacy or half of the women he's interested in, so why keep adding them?

You prefaced a response to someone the other day who said they didn't go down the Stacy path with I had to calm down before I wrote this.
That's where I got my real anger response from, that and the Bailey fanatics, who seem the be quite obsessed with a fictional character.
Liking a character is one thing, getting upset because somebody else doesn't like the same character is different.
It isn't even people insulting a character that gets people worked up here, it's just them not being someone's cup of tea.
Perhaps it's the Harem nature of the game where as there aren't any choices because you can bang everyone so you must bang everyone so a player turning down someone is looked at as insulting, I don't know.
Anyways this is bordering on off topic and since the mods seem to be cracking down on off topic posts now, I'll flip this to on topic by asking a question.
What is a future threesome that you are looking forward to? For me Jasmine and Tia, it's been awhile since we had a Nubian threesome, and these two add a different flavour.
That was clearly meant as a joke. Everyone here that knows Loco, knows he is not one to get angry over something like that. We all took it like the joke it was... well almost all.

Has the character sheet been updated since December? 'Cause there are girls missing from that one and I seriously can't remember who some of the named girls are.
