oh man i just wanted to come see if anything.. guess the joke's on me.. and please do not harass me for not giving some insightful critique. i mean why the fuck would i do something like that if nobody even cares?
god damn this game was really awesome.. now it's even worse than playing solitaire.. or the same? hmm can't really make a good difference between the two.

Then the games synopsis should be edited a bit. I may be misremembering, but one of the main bullet points was to be actually playing basketball, not gallivanting off on cruises. Don't get me wrong though, I like the game. Just seems to have really really strayed from what the original idea for the game was going to be. Based on that summary.

It was a move that shocked many as WVM is not known for its basketball team. In fact they didn't even manage to win a game last year. All eyes are on you to perform and turn the team around. Your humble past will be tested and many temptations lay before you. How will you handle being the star on campus?

I don't see how any of that says there will be basketball playing. I see how someone can misunderstand it. Or how someone can turn that into basketball playing. Nothing that says, "this is a sports game where the focus will be on how the MC plays basketball."

I didn't mean it in the sense that we'll be picking up an Xbox controller to play a full 4 quarters. But when you put:

it kinda infers that as this huge up and coming basketball star who went to a school with a down and out team you'll be trying to better them. IDK, i expected more leadership and team dynamic stuff as well as the normal L.I drama stuff from a harem game. Instead it's the MC's mindset of "oh nice, another girl slipped and fell onto my dick". I'll just have to temper my expectations from now on.

It's weird to me, how many people are really hung up on the lack of basketball games played in an AVN... like it's the backdrop it's the excuse for the titties... if you want basketball... just like, watch a basketball game.

I won't try to speak for anyone else but...

I became a supporter years ago Because of the basketball. I played in HS - an average player so nothing special to my skill set - and this was a bit of a nostalgic trip in an AVN, with, at the time, a good story and Not an over-the-top harem.

I stopped supporting more than a year ago due to the lack of development consistency and BD's communication problems (consistently overpromising and underdelivering... not a good way to build and Keep your fan/supporter base).

So - while I understand your point, I chose to continue to follow WVM Because of the BB - something unusual for an AVN and worth seeing if BD can make a good story of it.

I want the BB to be more front and center since it Is the reason the MC is the center of this story and the reason he has the number and type of women in his harem.

There are plenty of AVNs on F95 with the lots of sex and 'light' on story formula.

I actually thought WVM could be a great story with adult relationships including sex.

My favorite MC female journey is with Coach Harper - and I am looking for more of this relationship through time.

True, but I guess it's hard to see the big picture when development is... what it is. Been how many years for WVM and we only just recently got an exhibition game that ended up in a suspension of the MC to delay having to do that again even more. It is what it is I suppose.

the same thing can be said if you want to watch titties...just like, watch a porno... I'm cool with Buddy making this game in an image that right now only he can see but why the deception? If I told you I was making a story about a dude and his dog but he had a cat that barked and didn't even have a dog, you'd be scratching your head and saying why not just say the story was about a dude's cat that acted like or thought it was a dog. Why the convolution if he wanted to just make a slice of life VN with the MC going to a college to be with his friend and he so happened to try out for the bb team that shit makes infinitely more sense than him being some sports phenom in name only which confuses me the reader because everyone treats him so irreverently with seemingly no reason to. What were his career statistics that made him so good? Where's the actual evidence that he's this otherworldy player as depicted? You can't just bake character traits and history into a character and omit reasoning for doing so because if that's the case why do it at all? Honestly you take the fact that he is supposedly a basketball star out of the picture the whole story falls apart......... No pussy except best friend since he'd never would have met his GF since he met her sister playing organized basketball everything just unravels from there.

Like I said the basketball is the backdrop it's the framework in which the story is set. It's where all the characters develop and how they all know each other, all very important. I just don't personally have a desire to click through 10s of screens of basketball games, as that'll not be developing any of the interpersonal stuff or the sexy stuff... It'll just be basketball for basketball's sake. I'm a huge hockey fan, and if that was the sport of choice here I wouldn't need more than the occasional lip service to games played.

I'm definitely not an only here for the nudes person, the flippantness of my original post was just that, I'm just along for the ride to see where if ever we end up. It's like a soap opera minus all the parts that frustrate me cause everyone likes MC, there's no will they won't they, the answer is always they will, so I'm content to just ride along and see how they get there.
