Yeah I enjoy the images from this one but the updates are so slow I forget why I like it by the time it comes backAh! I wasn't saying you had any my bad, i was meaning 'i'm replying with no animosity' heh. Anyways I do agree. But annoyingly it's sort of become a guilty pleasure now ya know? I'll admit it's frustrating as anything when you see other devs releasing updates the same size or even bigger much more frequently. But what can ya do? Maybe eventually he'll get his shit in gear but I won't hold my breath.
Have some consideration. He just got over a very serious migraine. The man is doing his best to come up with fresh excuses and you have the audacity to criticize him. It's not easy being a developer these days, all types of health risks from sitting in front of a screen. Give him a break and let him count his money first. He needs time to come up with a new lie.Still working on that 1 fucking render I see.![]()
What a fucking joke.
It could very well be true. That's why I always say "PAY FOR A COMPLETED GAME!!!!" There is absolutely no incentive for a dev to complete the work as quickly as possible on Patreon. I say this for any dev. It's especially applicable to ScamDrop. How do the subscribers truly know what the dev is doing? For all you know, the devs says they are working on the episode, throws previews here and there, but the dev could have completed the work months earlier prolonging the milking. Or, the dev could be dong absolutely nothing. We saw the dev from AO Academy, or whatever it's called...... "developing the next episode". He was hyping up the episode, throwing previews left and right, all while taking the patreon subscribers money every month. He was set to release the episode. He closed up shop a week or two before the release date.My current theory for this whole situation is that the original BD died and a family member or someone inherited all his accounts. Since they don't know anything about making a game they have been just releasing what little bit of work was already done, super slowly over time and pretending like the rest is on the way soon. Until finally everyone stops giving them money for it and the jig is up.
I have a different theory, there is no braindrop/borpa, there is no WVM AVN, and we are all experiencing a collective hallucination...My current theory for this whole situation is that the original BD died and a family member or someone inherited all his accounts. It´s more likely the toilet zone, with all the crap that guy pulls on us...QueYou must be registered to see the linkstheme...
Sounds like lifeI really am impressed how one guy can fuck up such a good thing he had going for himself. This fucking guy hit the jackpot. Tens of thousands of dollars per month... if he just put even the minimum required effort, he'd still be loved by his fans. I have to say though, watching his downfall is pretty entertaining itself lol. I would love to know what's going on in that fucked up head of his.
Honestly this is super valid point that I think a lot of people who stay subbed to these kinds of creators may not even think about. It would be one thing if we knew for a fact that it was just incompetence, but like you said it could very well be that he's just milking each release or patch for the money. It certainly didn't go unnoticed that they started taking payments again right after missing another release date by a mile. If you're incompetent or struggling but you're working to fix it and not taking monthly money until it's resolved... that would be understandable. If you've missed so many release dates and explained so many setbacks that I can't even keep track anymore? No thank you. If you're doing that AND you have the fucking nerve to tell people you're going to start charging them again in the meantime? Not only no thank you, but also go fuck yourself. As someone else said earlier, this creator really screwed up a great thing for themself. Very few AVNs get that kind of following and patrons outside the upper echelon like Being a DIK or Eternum. They had one of the easiest types of these stories to write (at the core it's just meet and fuck and date every single girl you find attractive with some detailed writing tossed in and basketball). and I would think all that support has plummeted from where it was before. It's hard to gain someone's interest enough that they will pay you each month just to get updates and play new content ASAP... but it's infinitely harder to gain those same fans back after they've been burned. Anyways, that's my rant over I suppose. It could very well be true. That's why I always say "PAY FOR A COMPLETED GAME!!!!" neither of thoseHave we heard a new excuse yet? Or radio silence?
How about the Patreon comments?neither of those
a lot of comments on discord.
some frustrated people commenting about the delay of the delay of the delay and some others are trying to defend Brainfart.
but to someones surprise he is not radiosilent and making no "new" excuses just saying he has still the same problems that where there on january 5th.
he fixes one problem then two others appear that what he said today in discord.
he now even shuts up the persons trying to defend him in saying that they have every right to act frustrated and that they only telling the truth.
and no morbil forbiting to Loop either and that is a surprise itself...
a new tactic maybe to get some sympathy???![]()
