When I first started this game, back on the very first update ever, this is what my mind thought the story would be :
1.) You pick TS Shauna or Jamie to be your girlfriend.
2.) Best ending is that you are poly, where you are equals and everyone has sex together with no positions gate-kept.
3.) Normal ending is that you are mono with one of them.
4.) Bad ending is that you cheat, and get caught. - - - There was originally a "morality" setting that was never finished.
5.) There would be girls to "tempt" you away from the best ending. - - - Male gay content wasn't on the table then.
6.) Figure out the MC family history as the side-quest of the story.
7.) Depending on how you handle your relationships, you win the State Title or not.
8.) Sequel based off of either Best Ending or Normal Ending, going for National Title.
I was so stoked, and while I figured that what I had in mind wasn't necessarily the direction of the story, am I wrong to think that this idea would have been monumentally better than what we got?
As a trans female, I was so attached to this game for the first few years. (As someone who likes porn games, mind you.) I'm over it for the most part, but for me it's personal with Braindrop. Especially after he singled me out and made it personal back in Aug/Sept/Oct for those who were here for that disaster.

After the fiasco that has been the past 12-15 months of this VN, I would honestly have enjoyed the story much more if it followed that format. Not to mention that it would have been much easier for BD to manage, without all of the added LI's.

on a basketball team (which needs a minimum of 5 players, ideally 10), the creator has already done an absurd contortionism to make the other players: gay, married, criminals and even a trans man (who is not interested in women), which is to not offer ANY competition to the MC... to basically say that the MC "is the only man worth having a relationship with within a 500 mile radius".
on a football team, there would be about 20+ players. a lot of work to justify how the hell none of them can be a competitor for the MC
