I'm sorry guys, I shouldn't have set another date but I felt like I had to given the circumstances. I am trying but many things in life came crashing down on me over these past few days and it has me messed up. I'm trying to catch up to way too many things right now. Everything will eventually be okay, it doesn't involve anyone's health. It will not be much longer. I know this looks just like other delays I've had but it's a completely different situation. I want to and am planning to have it out before the dev report tomorrow but it may bleed into the weekend.

I truly have no words. Actually, I do. Thank fuck I never spent a single dollar on this "dev".

Also, as if I need to tell anyone. "It may bleed into the weekend" is just his way of setting up the fact that there defiantly won't be an update this week, and likely not even over the weekend. As a surprise to no one something just magically "came up" just as he was uploading. Shocker.

I pray that this man doesn't have a wife and kid and that is just another one of his fabrications. If it's true, the unreliable, lying, and manipulative behavior he displays to his patrons, I don't know how she would deal with that on a daily basis. Watching him pace around panicking over an adult visual novel story that he just completely shuts down over. To the point even that he's supposedly actively selling off assets to make ends meet. I'd be out of that house with that kid so fast.

The fact he still has nearly 3k patrons to me is wild.

Guys I think I'm too stupid but can someone explain to me how the hell it goes from just needing to upload the update to maybe it'll be ready by the weekend?

I feel like I missed something, how come no one on Discord asks these things?
It's really hard to ask BD a question with his dick in your mouth, thus the question is never asked.

The funny thing is that they actually are asking (except for the retards that defends him no matter what), the problem is that scamdrop doesn't answer.

i dont normally add reviews, but with all those that have time to continue to watch this for entertainment.
Make sure to take the minute or two to help drive the rating down. is still 3.6 / 5
( obviously only if you feel that way of course, for me this thread is 4/5 for entertainment but 0/5 on the whole )

Ah yes, a classic BD :LUL: Just as he was going to pack it up and upload it, life happened. And he didn't have a free minute to let his PC do the packaging/uploading while he deals with his stuff.

Guuuuuys have some mercy pls, it's a totally different situation I swear!!

Borpa (noun)

Definition:
A term used to describe an individual who is a habitual liar, deceitful, and engages in fraudulent or manipulative behavior. Borpas are typically associated with scams, conning individuals out of money, resources, or trust.

The origins of the term "borpa" are unclear, though it is believed to have emerged from informal and regional vernacular in the early 21st century. It may derive from a fusion of older slang words referring to dishonesty and trickery.

  • Engages in manipulation, coercion, or deception to achieve personal objectives.

because this MFer is clearly lying, and nobody on discord says anything cause they get ignored, attacked, muted, or banned... Of course there are some that will call out BD, but it doesn't lead anywhere.... They're basically yelling into the void.

Allow me to clarify things for you.

BD is lying. Obviously and clumsily. However, he's not a sociopath, he feels remorse and desperation to please others. In many ways, this makes things worse. So first he sets a realistic date. Then he misses said date, because he's either lazy, lacking the talent to complete his work or something legitimately comes up in his life (this does happen guys). Then he sets another date. This date is UNrealistic. It's a desperation move to buy himself time, made only to avoid displeasing people. However this is shortsighted. It avoids short term hardship, but sets up a long term problem, in that it is LITERALLY impossible to meet this new deadline. It's a failure of maturity, you see it a lot in children. They make promises they can't keep in order to get someting or avoid something. It's actually really sad to see in adults, but I digress.

From there we enter the feedback loop, failure to hit the unrealistic deadline begets more promises. More promises beget more unrealistic deadlines and so on, and so forth.

From the discord (which I assume is populated entirely by subs and fans, of which I am neither) we most likely have three main groups of people. 1 Uncaring donors - People for whom a small tithe each month means nothing* and thus, their interest in the game is entirely whimsical. If it comes out, great. If not, who cares? 2 Fans - Whether through the sunk cost fallacy** or ideological capture*** they choose to believe or at least tolerate BD's constant lies. 3 Others - Such as myself who are uninvested in the game, or those that know the game is constantly delayed but for one reason or the other consider this to be an acceptable timetable.

TL;DR Braindrop is lying and the Discord is [insert adjective here]

* When I say nothing, I mean NOTHING. So many people pretend like a dollar per month is a pittance, but those same people would absolutely bend down to pick one up off the street. I'm talking about the people who feel, rightly or wrongly that their time is worth more than the effort it takes to bend over for three seconds.

** They've invested more money than they care to lose and more importantly, TIME which they value into the dev and the story.

*** Through the power of self delusion and the compounding effects that occur when your world view is reinforced in an echo chamber, people can and will believe things they know to be untrue. In fact often times events that should cause a 'crisis' of their faith only serve to reinforce it. This is because our belief system is deeply tied to our self esteem and sense of worth. Ideas that challenge our beliefs arouse (in most people) a sense of loss or physcological damage. Many people cannot abide such damage in modern times and thus avoid it at all costs. And while I know a silly little AVN seems like a strange thing to 'believe in', it's not. The things people latch on to has little to do with their inherent value, and more to do with strange combinations of past associations and unconscious memories that trigger chemical reactions in our brains (specifically dopamine).

Now that we saw what Zoe's mom looks like, I want to see in the next update what Jasmine's mom looks like.
Who knows, she may join the Harem rather sooner then later.
