i dunno about others line of work but if u work like this u get fired after so many excuse.
yes we all have issues and we all have to take a step back from time to time but not 15 times.
first 2-3 times i felt sorry for the guy but now he just making excuses all the time.

1. Hes had his patreon pledges paused for a while now (and paused before) so litterally not being paid.

2. Pretty sure a job employer can understand health and family issues. Also pretty sure getting married allows for time off and there's also a baby he has to prepare for, thats called paternity leave. And hes recently moved house.

3. Just be paitent and stop being bitchy. You're on a piracy site, you already have access to patreon content. You don't have the right to complain.

He should learn by now not to hint update dates until its ready. When it's done, check it, test it, release teasers and drop it when you like. It's stupid to hint update dates and back out at the last days and hint another day again.

To be fair if he didnt change into bigger updates

Then we would have something at least to play

With the smaller updates we could have at least some progress

And before someone calls me out for freeloading im a patreon member

Just hope the next updates will be better organized

Or just go back to the smaller updates so people can at least play something

Yeah, and speaking of the update... there's a chance it slides into the start of July. I know I'm becoming the king of slides but had an emergency. I've been in the hospital with my grandpa the majority of the past few days. His blood pressure was enormously high and he's had a bad stomach ache. He's doing better now and he's back home, he's still feeling sick but it's not spooky anymore and I'm keeping constant care of him.

Not gonna make an announcement about it or anything yet. Gonna do everything I can to finish by the 30th. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case.

I like the approach of college bound's developer. He updates every week i guess and i usually download it once in a month and i get decent amount of content to play.

There are many issues that I never bring up or talk about publicly, one of those being that late last year my grandpa had an emergency surgery.
As his caretaker it's been my responsibility to make sure he's okay and I take him to the doctor all the time, his doctor tells me exactly what to look out for. So when he was showing two of the biggest signs (Very high blood pressure and a sharp pain in his stomach) I took him straight to the hospital.

I'm not looking for sympathy, I posted that on my own private discord since the topic of the update came up. I was just telling them what was going on.

The simple fact of the matter is that I'm not going to let my grandpa sit in pain so I can finish an update to a porn game 3 days faster. And if you have any issue with that... then fuck off.

It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. When things go wrong and dates change people get upset because you gave an estimate, however if you don't give a time posters patreons and everybody else will non stop ask when the update is coming? Is there an estimate? Come on just a guess... etc.

These two examples don't even include the trolling with both choices.

Absolutely no one has reason to be mad at this dev. He has not charged anyone anything this whole time. He has kept in communication this whole time.

The update is coming. The world will not be lost or saved by knowing the exact date.

There is more to most people's lives besides these vns on this forum.
