This may have been mentioned already but have the renders been...not sure how to describe it...shitified? Or am I just remembering things being much better like 2 years ago when updates were actually a thing? The models seem far lower res than they used to be or "tweaked" or something.

Don't think renders have been Shitified just 2 years ago they seemed good. Now lots of other developers are much better while WVM hasn't improved even some honey select games seem better than this. Writing seems to have got worse. Its a shame quite liked this game simple and somehow wholesome for a harem porn visual novel.

Oh boy another game with massive income decides to do a "remake" back to square one. the more money a game makes the slower the updates get and the less content they get until the remakes start happening. Ill be honest, I stopped playing this game like a year ago but just saw this on the updates page and decided to check it out and read some posts. Sad.

Kinda agree. The writing and story could use a revamping and reworking of sorts, along with getting rid of that over use of 'bru bru' crap. BD should, as I do "hate" saying this, take the time, if he is invested in this development, write out his story and fine tune it, make it sensible and intriguing yet wholesome and naturally lewd of course. I'd offer suggestions and thoughts on the endevour but most of fan probably wouldn't like that, nor me for that matter.

honestly if I was 24 years old new dad, earning 17k$ a month even after doing close to zero work for over a year... I definitely wouldn't bother working much.
The truth is there's a reason this story repeats itself over and over in this industry. a dev gets really big, some big crysis hits, things slow down but they find out they make a LOT of money anyway, and they aren't losing income... they just never get back on the horse. there's no incentive to get back to the grind when you can just chill and earn way more than the average 24 years old guy.
I don't blame him. Patreon is the reason this industry got so big in the west, but its also the plague that will kill it if nothing will change.

It's an issue that pretty much turns a job into a welfare check. As long as the developer keeps getting paid even when he isn't producing, then what is the incentive to work at all?
