What I don't get about the rewrite is, he knows almost everybody wants to bang Azel, so...why not write her to be more Patreon friendly (perhaps a very close family friend who always made sure MC was being taken care of, but wasn't a full on guardian) and then let them, rather than just get rid of all the early hints?
He would have to rewrite the whole story in that case, as either he would remain with his mom, than there is the sister story as well with that. Or introduce a new character as his Guardian. So probably more work than it is worth it for him. Or he is basing the character on someone and don't want to "defile" her. Only he knows.
My concern with the early rework is that part of it was due to having the events over a longer period to make it more realistic (as far as I know at least). But he now does the same, with 4-5 (longer) events per day, or the MC straight up sleeps through 1-2 days. So if he really does that, then newer players will be probably weirded out with the increase in scenes/day.
If he gets to complete the rework. Who knows.
Yeah people seem to forget Azel is based on his aunt who passed away and she isn't ment to be a bangable character

BD's aunt?? Wtf was with those Rachel scenes making us imagine her sexually then? Lmao why is he writing stuff like that about his dead aunt? Reminds me of Leap of Faith being based loosely on the devs daughter. What a way to grieve...
Rachel is trying to push MC boundaries but the mc won't act on it and azel personality is based on his aunt that's all

I just finished playing the new update and BD should really stop adding new girls for a while. It's already hard to keep track of the girls that are already in game and he wants the mc to fuck the douchebag's girlfriend (I don't remember his name and I don't care) and all their cheerleaders. I like big harems but this is starting to get really silly even for porn game standards
I think he even mentioned something about being the "modern day Genghis Khan"? So there will be a loooot more.
Like Jamie and Shauna mentioned going to a different city and being his wingwomen.
And they are just about to go to a different city. At least half the women will want to kneel in front of him during the event, I would bet on this.

I am not against him adding more girls in the future but at least for a while it would be nice if focused more on the girls already in game. I am still waiting for content with kimmy.
Agree with you here, I just have my doubts. At least for my taste, things are getting more and more superficial.
The next few updates should be about the trip mostly, so we will see I guess, if your hopes are answered, or if I am unfortunately right.
He already added that "Granny" character. MC could've lived with her.

Ok, this one I've got to touch on! The Aunt/ Azel/ Rachel thing IDK. Maybe When BD wrote that part he was thinking of caving to popular opinion about Azel, or wanted to hint at it to get more subscribers or something, Who knows?
LOF though, I think that was an awesome way to grieve.
His daughter was the one who told him that he should write a story, so he did.
He used that story to tell about the issues that his daughter struggled with, and then he gave the player the option of letting her make really great friends that would help her through it.
Or if they chose the Cece route, then she ended up with a man who never cheated on her, bent over backwards to help her, saw and loved her for who she was-just as she was, and even, depending on the player's choice, gave Drifty the grandchild that he will never have!
It is a beautiful, emotional, awesome fucking story. And yes, considering his loss, getting to create a fictional world where his daughter lives on and even has a chance at happiness and children... that actually sounds like a hell of a way to work through at least some of your grief.
