Secondly, It's not like him not adding it wouldn't have changed shit. BD knew full well that how he added Cedar/Willow would look but went ahead and did it anyway; Despite the entire premise looking like she was someone who you could date and honestly? When I first saw her I immediately was all for going after her, even not knowing that she was family simply because of the backstory behind her. I did however make a comment way earlier sometime about how forced it felt that she was icked away from it despite crushing on MC. Furthermore, He shouldn't have even fucking added any sort of romantic references towards Azel or have her been so flirty (fwiw from what I can remeber) towards the MC if he didn't want people to dick her down. It's almost like he forgot what kind of game he's making (hint: it isn't wholesome) and then tried to back-pedal after saying 'Hmm... no you don't get anything with any of these characters despite them taking up a SIGNIFICENT chunk of screen time'. Which, okay; sure, but don't in that case you think they should be drastically reduced in screen time instead of being kept front and forward facing?
I haven't touched this game in over a year and honestly, from reading some of the comments have no desire to do so. Duck-Faces aren't for me. All I remember though is how BD kept pushing shit back further and further every time. I'm not even sure why I'm still watching this thread but I can't bring myself to un-watch it.
I swear it's like a train wreck in slow motion, I can't look away.

Why should any author avoid putting content in their work that might cause the unhinged to shit themselves? Explain it to me. Why does he have to cater to one group but not another? It is his story. If he wants to tease incest, fine! Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head telling them to read the nonsense.

Was there a moment where I wanted Willow to be in the harem? Hell yes! The second that I realized she was going to be the long-lost sister, that died. I don't have any interest in Azel. Wendy is gorgeous. Does it bother me he isn't going to nail her? Nope.

Complaints are fine. They are going to happen no matter what. And should. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and unfortunately share it in an anonymous public forum. Saying, for example, that it sucks that all the girls are growing into duckfaced caricatures of previously individualized and attractive character assets, is valid. Willow is hot and I wish the dev would have included her in the harem is also a valid complaint. Compare that to, "it is complete bullshit that BD teases us with the incest shit and then doesn't follow through. You can't put shit like that in a game and then not deliver." And then repeat that complaint over and over ad nauseam. Creating multiple accounts just so you can continue to shitpost about the same thing even after getting blocked or banned.
You do see a difference, right? But this is the internet. A bunch of kids that should have had their faces bashed in growing up but instead got coddled and given an outlet for their dysfunctional and sociopathic outbursts found a haven online. You kinda talked yourself into a corner of I wanna say stupidity but it's more like ignorance or unknowing. I don't honestly think there is a single soul here that actively complained about any of those things, More so I think people poke fun at and openly mock that the author can't or won't take accountability for themselves since they and they alone provide the timelines for releases. There has been a lot of fuckery surrounding the author whether you believe it or are indifferent to it is irrelevant because it doesn't change the fact that it's there and people will draw their own conclusions. I also don't think people feel like they are owed anything more so that the author says and doesn't do but perpetually takes. Is this a pirate site? Yes, do we know that? Yes. No one feels owed anything though some of us here do pay for content that is either perpetually late or straight-up non-existent which understandably causes frustration. Not to mention that buddys work ethic for the past 3years has been as enthusiastic as someone's New Year's resolution.

myself i don't care about incest but it sure as hell bugs me that several updates are wasted on characters that we can't touch

Don't start him off with unrealistic expectations. It's been months since updates were every few weeks. He had a brief glut of week-ish (even when the target was 1 per week, new releases took more than one week) updates earlier this year, but that didn't last. Until BrainDrop changes his release schedule again, there are verifiably, consistently multiple months between updates. The most recent content is literally 2 months old.

Actually no, if you read through my posts you'll see I don't actually troll. I'm just not cool with you misleading people about the release schedule. My post history has quite a bit of content discussion (imagine that, you've actually reacted to some of my content discussion, but go ahead and act like that didn't happen), but there isn't new content to discuss because the updates are not what you're telling new people they are.
It would be most accurate to say he is inconsistent with updates. Over the last several months, the releases have been every few weeks. The next release is anyone's guess. Overall, he seems to be doing better on the frequency of releases than he has in the past.

Let‘s be honest, this is going to be like all the previous releases. BD is going to ‚work in the background‘ , prepare a couple of releases and act as if he‘s back on track until the prepared content runs out. Rinse and repeat.
Part of this goes back to when BD still posted in this forum. His answer back then was the incest would only happen if an "evil modder" were to do it. He teased about that for a while. You can interpret that as him teasing that he would do it on the sly, or that he was just trolling even harder. Just do a search for "evil modder" in this thread. It goes on for years.
If the next excuse that comes out is that he's found some new assets that will make the boat trip "so much better", and has to be delayed to update with the new art assets...yeah, we're in Groundhog Day mode.
