I used to follow this game really really hard...I LOVED this game since it spoke emotionally to me. I couldn't wait to download the newest update, and would check daily for it. But with the length between updates and the quality of the recent updates, this game has been on the backburner for me. I don't know why he decided to dupe all of us with all the promises of a good update only to drop a subpar update at best, but I feel disappointed and let down. This game was going somewhere, and now it is going nowhere. I don't know why or how BD has been able to keep his following, but some people are stating a cult, and it starting to seem like that to me too. There is no way all these people should keep following BD with all the lies and manipulations he as been doing lately, with out there being some reason behind it, and usually cult followings are at base, a manipulation.

honestly, and i'm being very serious here, we talk about the game more on F95 than they do on the patreon/discord

the patreon feed (outside of maybe the last 2 weeks, heh, sorry) is nearly dead, and the discord is nothing but Shauna PP memes (those aren't too bad actually) and spam-gifs (those suck, honestly)

i'd say the "fanbase" is actually more active here than on his official pages, which, probably pisses him off too, maybe moreso because he might not actually "trust" his discord fanbase BECAUSE he knows they will just tell him what he wants to hear

F95 comes around "oh...that's how they really feel" , and back into depression/poor decisions he goes ... i mean, let's be real ... when he is having anxiety over a release, it can't be his Discord's expectations he's worried about, is it?

It sounded funny at first, but now that I think about it, it isn't surprising she hasn't aged. Based on the rework timeline, it's only been like a month since the game began, and even less in the original.

i'm STILL getting updates from that post on patreon, (likes and comments), but i can't actually see the post if i click the update link .. XD .. it's like patreon has never had a set of events happen in this exact order before

(yes, i know, it may have happened before, but they have no precedence for it, broken update system, giving me notifications and emails to content i can't access XD)

It's likely due to it being an edge-case. or to put it differently would you spend money altering a pipeline for the 0.1% that you aren't getting a commission out of?

Devil's Advocate : There are a bunch of shitty developers and shitty threads on F95. Before this one, the worst was Milfy City and ICSTOR. If someone is here for no other reason than to "shit on the worst thread currently on F95", I'd say they have the bigger issues.

Anyone else here is here for a reason. Good and bad. The thread serves its purpose. Just a bump in the road currently as things got uuber fucked on both sides of the fence. As long as this place remains a haven where we can release steam and/or enjoy a better product ((yeah i know that aint happening any time soon, just saying)) the thread should remain.
