I can't remember who does what exactly, but maybe one of the girls can be in charge of merchandising. She can team up with Rachael for a special marketing campaign: Lil' 43!I'm sure most of you don't care, but what is kind of amusing at this point is how out of date the game is because of rule changes. Way back I pointed out how WVM could get in trouble for giving the MC houses and cars in the game because it's all against NCAA rules.
However what has changed for stars in American college athletics is the name, image, and likeness rights. College players now get a percentage of their jersey sales as well being able to sell their autographs and other things that can generate hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars a year for the player.
Just a few years back that was all against the rules too. The only way they were getting any real money was either against the rules (boosters giving them money, houses, cars etc) or they could take a loan based on future earning potential. Not that the MC would've ever really had to whore himself out for money, but at this point it's laughable. A player as hyped as the MC would make a couple million a year no problem while playing college basketball.
Perhaps he'll update it in the rework.

I hope he doesn't. There are plenty of films, books, and games set in the past that do just fine. Even something from the 1990s doesn't need to "update" to modern rules in order still to work. This also is a fictional university, so it's a fictional world. ) There's no reason this needs to reflect reality today. There's already enough time between releases; I don't think we should be trying to distract BD from wherever his story is supposed to go.

Man I can't remember shit from this game, does the plot ever move forward? I kinda liked the idea of mc balling out so hard he basically becomes the next lebron and the wish fulfillment aspect of being that dude.
All I can remember was the tomboy joining the team for some reason like she'd ever be helpful playing with grown men lol. Would be a waste of space even on the bench lmao.

Yeah it was and still is a cool concept ... sadly the MC has moved houses more often than played matches, or even trained lol.

Are we playing the same Porn game called WVM???because the one i played over 20 times so far has 0 story on it, MC is a young man that walks in a place and every female around want to bang him instantly...He moves to college and the cheerleader captain was ordered to organize a sexuall initiation for every new member to have sex with him,there is a sleep walk and mystery about his past that any normal human being who lives with adoptive parents at the age of 18+ will already learn about important stuff like the accident he was in and the fact that he was hospitalized, that his biological mom is alive and was a part of his life when he was a kid as much as she could while dealing with her own issues...I hope he doesn't. It "has 0 story on it"... and then you proceed to bring up the primary plot (the MC learning about his past, reconnecting with separated family, and trying to find out who all of his enemies are and why they hate him so much). I never said it would be a Pulitzer-prize winning VN or anything. But there is some plot, regardless of how anyone feels about the quality. (I myself get frustrated by how little of it has been given and/or what it lacks currently.)

Well now that i rethink about it , it has plot, but instead of letting that plot to develop and learning stuff about his past, while train with his new teammates, he goes around fucking women to make them pregnant , meet drug dealers etc...Problem is not the quilty of the plot ...Problem is that you start with one thing and 3 scenes later that plot goes behind the scenes because there are subplot on the surface

There's a difference between tomboys and trans men. Tomboys are girls and women that are perceived as having masculine habits and preferences (not necessarily sexually). Trans men are biologically female but identify as male. Skye is a pre-op/non-op trans man (so he is specifically transgender, not transsexual), and he's arguably the 2nd best player on the team behind the MC. Dubaku's reliable but doesn't have much presence so far, and Ayden's rusty but improving. The older teammates are part of the losing history and reputation. Skye's been putting in more work than anyone, including while injured, and impresses the MC in their 1-on-1 scrims.
I guess I forgot he was trans. Still, if your 2nd best player on the team is ftm shit's cooked. The mc would have to average 70 points a game just to barely win games against any remotely competent teams.
I guess the power of friendship is stronger in fiction than irl.
