When BD announced more DITLOs coming soon that was a bad sign for any progress on the game. Whenever BD is "stuck" or basically unwilling to work on the actual game, he puts out the birthday renders and other fluff. If a DITLO is coming, that is a bad, bad sign that the game is not getting an update any time soon.

Maybe it's me but IMHO the DITLO was the worst content he ever made. Like the bar isn't very high to begin with but holy shit that was bad on so many levels...

Fck when I read comments this scene came to my mind and I m illuminated BD cultist's must be look like them.
The same technical issue from the summer delays, packaging the game. Which is absurd as excuses go because he doesn't need to package it, he could just add the renders and the scripts to the previous version's folder, zip it and upload it and it would work just fine until he could fix whatever issue he supposedly has with packaging. With this excuse he's saying "I have everything ready but I'm choosing not to give it to you", which is a bold statement from someone who's apologizing and playing the victim.

The update will be released at half time of the Ravens vs Steelers playoff game IF, the Steelers are up by 10 pts or more. In other words, no update tonight, tomorrow or BD's foreseeable sad future.

I have no faith whatsoever in the remake being completed this decade, but when it eventually does happen, I sure hope he keeps this exact shot

So it seems the Steelers may have lost... but our boy BD here plays for the STEALers. They're undefeated all season long with him on defense. Not a singele update has gotten past him the entire year. That is truly playing at an elite level.
I Don´t get it. Why not just be honest? Don´t post a release date when you are not 100% sure you are ready. simple as it is.

Funny thing is, IF he had those renders complete (which he doesn't, and "rerendering" is just "first time rendering" or "not actually doing anything, but throwing buzzwords to sound busy"), he could shut everyone up by posting JPGs with the middle blacked out to prove they exist but without giving the goods away.
Of course, even if he DID do this, he'd end up publishing those versions in the game instead of the originals.

yeah I dont get that too. people on here arent losing anything, in fact they are constantly given handouts and they still manage to be pissed at every little thing.
guys, all these release dates, "excuses", etc etc they are not for you anyway, you werent promised anything, nobody has any obligations before you and certainly wont hold any excuses, so why are you so agitated about this game?
