But the update is always just around the corner.I suppose. I'd much rather have Cedar than either Katie, but I can't have nice things
Or anything apparently, since the game is stuck in purgatory![]()

One freckle for every delayBraindrop, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Look at what your taking forever to do things has done, Jamie is crying and its all your fault, you lazy bastard.

I was going to ask the same thing, i thought it was just because he hated the early game models.Wait what? How does that work![]()
I was just saying that if animations were introduced to GH than the dev time between updates would likely be longer than what people have been used to.
Trust me, I'm no fan of BD. You can check my post history for that. I was just saying that I believed the reason for the short turn over for updates from MB is likely because there are only a few scenes in each update and no animations. It really isn't about BD and this shit show.
I'd have to trust you guys on that one, because i was not there in the early days... but he could have fooled me. If he really wanted to switch from a basic porn harem and elevate the game, the first thing he could have done and did not, would be to fix the pacing, dialogue and flow of scenes. There isn't much to sublimate, in a non porno way, about girls praising MC like a religious figure, duck kissing and hugging him for 10 min straights in corridors and hallway, in between sex scenes lol. This is how BD was early on, when he did monthly/bi-weekly releases. But BD, unlike MB, didn't want to make a porn game. So everything eventually unraveled when he tried to take what was basically a porn game and make it make sense. Now these past couple years he's been stuck trying to do just that. Reworking things, his perfectionism etc. He, badly, wants/wanted this to be more than just another 50 LI harem game. But he's in too deep to make that work.
I disagree, Moon Box has set his work schedule and keep it to the minute, he works on both writing the plot, and creating the scenes base...He probably has been ahead of schedule in terms of plot ...He release a new update every 15 days without failing,he is honest with his patreons...BD on the other hand makes promises and sets dates for the next update but he has not began working on the update.....Just because he may have better quality that means nothingI can't believe I'm even remotely "defending" BD in anyway... well, it's not in defense, but I just wanted to point out that Grandma's House doesn't contain animations. Which, if the animations are done by hand that would increase dev time by a good margin. Even if they're imported through DAZ it would increase the dev time. If GH had animations, the turn around for updates would be a little longer.
The only positive thing I'll ever say about BD is on average, his quality of renders and animations in later episodes are pretty good, in comparison to other AVN's I've seen.
Ultimately, it's whatever works for the dev and their fans.
There's not really anything to disagree with, animations take longer and that's a fact. Moonbox is a great developer but the time between his updates would absolutely be significantly longer if he added animations to every update (he's said as much himself). That being said, Braindrop has no excuse to take this long but there's absolutely zero way he could ever match the pace Moonbox goes at. Plenty of reasons to hate on Braindrop but it would be extremely unfair to expect him to release anywhere close to the speed that Moonbox does.I disagree, Moon Box has set his work schedule and keep it to the minute, he works on both writing the plot, and creating the scenes base...He probably has been ahead of schedule in terms of plot ...He release a new update every 15 days without failing,he is honest with his patreons...BD on the other hand makes promises and sets dates for the next update but he has not began working on the update.....Just because he may have better quality that means nothing
Well my main point is that BD does not spend the necessary hours of each day he works on developing his updates, and that is something we can see because he alone sets dates for the update's release and he misses again and again...At BD's early game stage he used to update twice a month if i remember it correct but still he use to cut a big update in smaller parts....My opinion is that he has lost the will to continue it but can't face that fact....There's not really anything to disagree with, animations take longer and that's a fact. I have not seen a single person ever say BD should match MB's speed (aside from you)..... MB has always been a point made in terms of setting, and keeping a schedule. That's it, full stop. I am not aware of anyone that has said BD has to release 52/52, once a month, or anything else. If the releases were sized properly for the time taken between releases, I imagine most people would be fine with twice a year. It isn't about speed for BD compared to MB, it's consistency. There's not really anything to disagree with, animations take longer and that's a fact. Well the problem is both "he's set his own deadlines, misses them, promises more, then misses those too." and that he keeps giving dates instead of make a managable work plan for each day , of the week he works in each update, for example he could work every week day 5 hours a day but 5 hours from Monday to Friday each week , if he would do that he would have time to handle personal stuff and make a significal progress...But he doesn't have a work schedule at least i don't see how he could have one and keep state his own release date for each update and missed it again and again....I have not seen a single person ever say BD should match MB's speed (aside from you)..... I know for a fact when I come here on the 13th, and 27th of each month.... MB has new content out for his game, without fail.
I could walk away from this thread for 6 months, and it's 50/50 on if BD has dropped, or even said anything in the past 6 months.
THAT is the difference. It doesn't matter if there is animations, music, voice acting, or anything else. It's about setting a realistic, workable schedule, and sticking to it consistently.
All I was saying that is that a game without animations is going to have a much shorter development cycle that a game with animations. I also didn't say Braindrop should release at the same schedule as Moonbox, I was just saying that even if Braindrop had the same dedication Moonbox did, the updates would still take much longer because WVM has animations in it. Moonbox has said himself that he doesn't put animations in Grandma's House because he couldn't maintain the same schedule.I have not seen a single person ever say BD should match MB's speed (aside from you)..... Didn't imply anybody was saying that Braindrop and Moonbox should release at the same speed. I definitely wasn't implying that myself either. That being said, Braindrop HAS NO EXCUSE TO TAKE THIS LONG but there's absolutely zero way he could ever match the pace Moonbox goes at. Plenty of reasons to hate on Braindrop but it WOULD BE extremely unfair to expect him to release ANYWHERE CLOSE to the speed that Moonbox does.
Sure but it's a moot point, knowing that no matter what, even with longer cycles because of animations, Moonbox would have shorter and consistent releases, regular updates and schedules. Again i get the point, I'm just not sure it's even relevant to WVM's situation. WVM isn't late because of animations nor renders, but because he announced updates he clearly never worked upon, until it was too late and then scrambled to release something partially.I also didn't say Braindrop should release at the same schedule as Moonbox, I was just saying that even if Braindrop had the same dedication Moonbox did, the updates would still take much longer because WVM has animations in it. When BD first started off with animations. The longest we waited was 3months maybe 4 but it was always with sex animations. All I was saying that is that a game without animations is going to have a much shorter development cycle that a game with animations. All you were saying is that you're wasting everybody's time!!!! It's like everyone else here is talking about the upcoming Super Bowl and you're chiming in with "Gee that water looks pretty wet..."All I was saying that is that a game without animations is going to have a much shorter development cycle that a game with animations. I am 100% sure ima lose this bet but I bet that Realm Invader ( almost 1 year without a update ) will update before this does.So who wants to bet when he finally puts something out it is the Jasmine date but he still hasn't finished the freaking cult leader ....er I mean Delilah scene.
