Eh story you say?? in whick part of WVM there is a story??I mean realistic story!!"MC moves to the college in the city he was born and lived some years in his childhood, he out of nowhere became the star of highschool basketball player and sign up to play for a college which has no team, no stadium and very few male students to be on the team, the people who own the college are nowhere to be found and the guy who is the president of this college has a philosophy that say we solve everything with sex and force the cheerleaders new members to have sex with the MC to get aproval on the team, MC asked by his adoprive's mom friend and boss Rachel to become a breeding bull for rich and desperate women ....So if anyone wants to take over the best option would be to make the story from 0
TBF, a story doesn't need to be realistic to be good. It can be an outlandish, sci-fi, power fantasy fuck em all and still qualify as a good story. But it does need to be consistent, properly paced, and fairly well fleshed out, to be good.
That doesn't mean WVM is a good story, but it also doesn't need to be remade into something realistic to be "good". The early game was successful for a reason, and it wasn't entirely on the backs of renders and animations.

I think a lot of the "story" criticism we've been seeing lately is largely due to it being stuck on a side-quest in Florida for the last couple of years. The game's been in development for about 6 years and everything since like mid 2023 has been focused on this 2 day Florida trip.

WVM at least in my opinion does not have a deeper story behind it, we play a Guy who is a prime rising star in the basketball world , we walk around town and in college meet women and college girls which from the moment the mc looks at them want to fuck him...that's not something that has a deeper story, mc gets a proposition to become a breeding bull fucking rich women from all around the country...WVM according to the creator's words is a porn game, it's true that "a story doesn't need to be realistic to be good. You're correct, being stuck in the same spot, and that being the sole focus, destroys any momentum that WVM did have. And most of the much hyped Florida trip has been kinda.... Meh.
And I agree with this entire sentiment. The problem is, BD seems to get stuck on story, when he doesn't need it to be deep.... He could have gotten by with a fairly shallow, but well paced entertaining harem builder, and likely be done by now.... I get the impression he wants to do a deep story, but doesn't know how, which causes a bunch of his other issues. The story didn't start deep, but he keeps trying to make it deep, and it in turns throws off any sort of pace or decent story telling he is trying to do.
Basically he should be writing Twilight, when he is trying to do Macbeth, while claiming he is trying to write some other stupid novel that I can't think of..... and failing on both fronts.
You get your update when BD need more free money don't moan if you support this piece of work.

I still just cant understand why BD does this, I mean he makes decent $$ every month but just imagine how much more he would make if he was steady with the updates. The dude just needs to hire some REAL help from people that work in the industry and not his imaginary friends that will keep him on track and release the update NO matter what........ lmao

He could even add wvm on steam if he modified some of the scenes of his game so that steam would approve it
I just know that it was a dumb book series, turned movies, that made way more money than it ever should have. I was forced through the movies once, and I wanted to off myself by the end of it... It was painfully stupid.
The premise I was going for was more along the lines of:
He should be writting the more shallow book, instead he seems to be aiming for macbeth, but ultimately delivers (I don't know many book titles) some terrible book.

Haven't read the books, saw the movies but did not like them at all, honestly i don't think BD even knows what exactly he wants to do with the "plot story" he writes ,i think that he began making a porn game with the whole point of a college student/basketball rising star fucking every woman/college girl he meets , but at some point he tried to bulid a world for this game of his and created relationships to the mc (and he added Azael (mc's adoptive mom),Cede(his lost sister),Wendy(his biological mom)the unnamed father,to make the game's world more rich than just MC fucking women left and right....

If you were a lazy bastard with no qualms about lying and had this choice:
- $10k/month and all the time to do anything else you wanted (like have a real job or just sit around having fun every day) because you didn't have to do anything for it other than type a short essay every few days
- $30k/month but you have to write a story and make images at the rate of 8 a day every day (we'll ignore that his rate several years ago was 20/day since he is currently struggling with 8/day)
($10k/$30k numbers are ass pulls for illustrative purposes. I don't know his earnings.)

Florida trip needs to end in a action thriller explosion where 80% of the cast dies. That way BD can reduce the amount of needed branches and LI. Can get back to the best girl; Harper.
There's not even any branches though. If there were, BD would actually have a valid excuse for why it takes so long to put out an update.
