Is there any reason the dev keeps setting deadlines when he never meets them? Wouldn't it be better to just stop announcing them and release the update when it's actually done?

Whether the update comes out or not, it's time to play the victim a bit and of course since he was so stressed to get this last part of chapter 13 out, he'll have to rest for the rest of the month, so at the end of the month we'll have an excuse and new promises that he'll miss.

Yes, he pretends the update is really close i.e gives a release date, so he can justify unpausing pledges (although he promised he would only unpause AFTER he releases something, not before. But since its sooo close to releasing it should be fine, right?) to be able to get all that nice free money. When the deadline arrives he makes up any excuse he can think of so his gullible supporters doesn't cancel their pledge until the next month so he can do it all over again.

It wont come out we will be strung along for another month then we will recieve a partial update if anything with content REMOVED from partial and a promise of it being added when its "fixed" later on... so 2 months there about and we will get another 97 new renders. If we are REALLY PATIENT we will wait another 6-7 months and get 150! *stares*

I rarely place bets, but with this creator, I guess it's a safe bet to bet that the anime One Piece episodes will start again sooner than they start again on April 6, 2025. I don't think he'll release a new update of his AVN...
