You didn't offer a differing opinion, you started off by insulting the other users of this thread without having anything even close to approaching an understanding of the current situation with this VN/Dev. Oh, wow, BD released an update a month ago! Too bad this entire episode (which still isn't completed, btw) was originally supposed to release October of 2023, at least according to the dev.
You claim you find it entertaining yet you call other peoples opinion bullshit. You complain that people are here wasting their time yet you yourself are here commenting on people wasting their time while wasting your own time. No, there was part of an update over a month ago that was due in 2023 (in case you haven't checked the calendar, it is currently 2025), along with a promise that the things he left out would be immediately uploaded.
His promise to immediately upload the final bit stalled out because now certain people like Mr_Grim77 have a new "recent update" to cite.

I was a Braindrop supporter until a few long months ago. You criticize this forum and I quote "pirate site" as if you don't also use it to download games, look at comics, or whatever it is you look at to give yourself calluses from masturbating so much. I found this game/vn thanks to this forum, and yes... at first I liked it to pass the time, but the constant disappointments that Braindrop supporters received ended up tiring too many of them.

I just dropped by to see the dumpster fire. If any one of you are holding onto hope for an update.....don't. At least not this month. I don't' follow sports, but if DrainDrop follows/gambles on sports as much as a few people on here have stated, There is currently "March Madness" which is supposed to be quite big in the states for college basketball . (I'm from outside the states, so it's not as big a deal)
Anyways, don't' expect to even hear a fucking peep outta this dude , both in public or on his discord, until AT LEAST April 8th. That's the day after the championship game . (At least according to the wiki article I just read).

While you are correct saying that he pops in at the end of the month to unpause and therefore collect all that sweet free money that he doesn't deserve. The difference is that this time he still hasn't paused the pledges so now he hasn't a reason to pop in and tell anyone a bs excuse to be able to unpause.
He might still come in at the end of the month though, just saying that this time he hasn't really any motivation for doing so.
He will probably pop up with an excuse, as not everyone is auto-renewing. If the dip in numbers is too big, then there is less of a chance that gullible people start supporting him, which is probably the second highest number after the cult (though this is just a guess). Even if 98% of the people dont believe him, there is basically a "need" at this point to keep the facade up if he wants to keep most of his "paycheck" intact.
I hope his supporters are enjoying fueling BD's March Madness gambling, as they're certainly not getting anything for their support other than the joy of supporting a degenerate gambler; that's clearly why he needed to unpause his Patreon. I'm glad I immediately terminated my support for him years ago when he initially started flaking out. Now I just get to enjoy watching this trainwreck.
