Hey, everyone.

This was meant to be posted last night but I accidentally fell asleep early. So, oops.
I also didn't daily post the teasers in the discord, just not there yet. But here they are now.

It was a solid week of work. Nothing crazy but decent.
98 new renders, 1 new animation, 4 animation mix-up additions (A previously made animation that has been altered to be a shallower or deeper depth to mix into the animation loop to make it feel slightly more varied.), I finished making a new set / environment that is needed to finish up Day 37 and 38, and I finished making many character sheets.

Speaking of the character sheets, girls in the A-H name range will have theirs posted real soon. Finishing the last few currently. Will likely be up tomorrow but may slide a little later into the week as it's not a top priority.

Going to keep these reports short and simple, I always feel an urge to try and explain or to give dates and promises. None of that this time, just an update on how the week went. Expecting a similar week out of the upcoming one.

So yeah, that's all I have to share for today. I appreciate you all very much. Thank you for everything. Next report should be on the 18th or 19th. And A-H character sheets soon.

whoa whoa whoa.. anyone else catch that 4th image? 6 years later and the mc finally has a chin and not just a black box?!? no wonder its taking him so long. in all seriousness this shit is getting old quick. dude should just tell everyone hes been lying for 2 years. that 13 and 14 were never done to begin with or if they were just release the shit instead of "fixing backdrops" or other dumb excuses in the past. its not a very in-depth story or well written for that matter like eternum or any other countless vns. would be so much easier to stick to his main plot (whatever tf that actually was...) n just keep rendering. all these delays, lies,excuses im beyond baffled how this dude still has this many supporters for a mediocre vn and i truly do feel sorry for those of you that have wasted that 1$ just to post these pointless dev reports.

I always love when the two main girlfriends join in or at the very least enjoy watching the MC with one of the newer girls. There's so much material there to use and play around with them getting jealous or mad because they get less attention now, but thank god this game doesn't go that route. Granted these preview pictures may as well just be pure fantasy with how likely we are to get another update any time soon... but I gotta admit, this pic of Jamie, I'm guessing Shauna?, with Skye laid out across the MC's lap is peaking all my interest.

I will believe it when I fucking see it. This is the same song and dance he has always been preforming for as long as I have been here.

The updates (both dev reports and actual game content updates) will be delayed and when they DO come out, it will be a fraction of what was already either promised or eluted to.

EDIT: I have stated before, no I wasn't a past supporter. So no, I haven't dropped a single cent on this guy so I don't' have the same past of being scammed as some other people here. And yes, I used to have the stance of "Well it's free here, so why complain? It's out when it's out". But that's not the point. The point is when people are supporting you, you have the obligation to follow through with promises and to put in work to keep earning that support. This guy, clearly does not fucking care about that.

Hey everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!
(The first two single render teasers are from the upcoming Beta 6, the rest of the collage teasers are from E14.)

My apologies for being silent recently, I posted links for Beta 5 in the previous post's comments. That beta goes up to the start of the upcoming Jasmine scene but is missing a large chunk from the end of the Daliah scene.
Beta 6 will be a total of three scenes. The remainder of Daliah, Jamine's date, and the flight home.
It will be close to 400 renders and 8 animations and will be out very soon.

This month has been spent remaking most of what is in this update.
I'm going to talk about the Daliah scene a little bit, it's a little spoilery but nothing specific.
I have a love-hate relationship with this scene, I love it for what it is and what it means for things moving forward but I hate how it felt like I couldn't stick the landing with it.
I've really struggled with how far I should go with it, what to share now, what not to share now, the settings, the lighting, the dialogue, just everything about this scene I've ran into issues with.
And remaking it in chunks over time really fed into those issues, it made it difficult to piece it all together, it led to continuity issues, and all sorts of other small things that killed my confidence about it.
I don't know if it was just writer's block, some other mental block, but I have felt stuck on this scene forever.

I've reached a point where I'm finally happy with it, I'm not sure how it will land but it's got to land somewhere.
I also just want to quickly say that while this scene matters a lot for everything moving forward, this isn't some big turning point in the game.
There's no magic, no chosen one story, nothing like that.

The Jasmine date also got a lot of attention from me this month, it's an emotional scene and we learn a lot more about Jasmine's backstory.
I did remake some of this scene but most of the work was adding to it.

I'm working on the final touches for this update right now, mostly just playtesting.
It will be out shortly.

I don't want to dive into the specifics of E14 yet, but I will have a much easier time getting all of that content out. If you want a better idea of what content will be in E14, all of the teasers should clue you in on most of it.
The plan is to release scene-by-scene. These releases will be way more often than what the recent ones have been.

Everything will be so much easier once the rest of this Daliah scene is out. It's honestly been 95% of the problem.
Once again, I love the scene it's just been a battle getting it to where I needed it to be.

And I want to apologize again for the silence this month. I was in my own head over things and I didn't want to say anything official until I was certain about it but at the very least I should have at least told you guys that.

Why shoot yourself in the face over and over again with little irrelevant details that make yourself look even dumber? "Last night" would have still be late based on his own timing earlier this week. So why even say anything? Just post the report. You'd almost think he were intentionally trying to make things worse for himself.

I understand that and I'm not gonna pretend I'm immune to burnout. But I love doing this man. It's fun. It's crazy to think we live in a time that I can tell a story like this in this kind of way. I wake up every morning excited to add more to it. I spend all day thinking about what to add to it. I feel super accomplished whenever I see the file size going up.

Well, I don't know if he checked but I am 99.9% sure that he noticed that his Patreon Numbers start dropping again so what could he do???He wants to salvage the rest of the and maybe try to convince some of his lost ones to come back...That is what i think at least...He already failed almost every promise he made for 2025 and he sees that continuing like this he will either have to abandon the game or hire someone for real this time to help him continue (I said hire someone for real because i don't believe he has a team)

All of these devs think they can be a one person team and rake in the cash at the same time. "Oh well Dr. PinkCake does it. Why can't I?" The difference between DPC and every other solo dev out here is a massive difference in both work ethic and actual skill. I fully understand your game being like your own personal pet project or whatever and yeah I also know how embarrassing it can be to ask for help... but let the downfall of hundreds of other games just like this one be an example to people out there. This is not a "fans lost interest" situation where a game is abandoned. This is one man who managed to put together just enough of a game, and worked on it for just long enough that he managed to have some of the highest numbers of paid subs in all AVN games... and then he stopped. WVM wasn't struggling for popularity, or interest, or excitement. This is just one man dropping the bag so fucking hard that it's painfully confusing. Such a waste.
